who know this number?

i got a call from this number too. claiming she's sending a 'goldcard'. but i didnt give out any details. she hung up the phone herself.

last friday, 7 dec, around 6.30pm, ....me too, when my hubby returned call, she said she's from menara kl, and will recheck n call back... till now, no call at all, i think it's better to ignore...

Just received the call. Claimed from Menara KL. Offering VIP card or something. I don't know how she got my number but I suspect Maybank sell our credit card owner number to these scumbag, since she mentioned it's rewards for using Maybank credit card.
I just say no every time she try to explain. Next few seconds, she just hang-up...

just received the call..  ask me:

1. Type of card - visa or ?
                          - cherry or yellow

2. Expired date

3. ic number

3. Card registration number

I said don’t have any credit card. She repeats telling about the VIP and gold card

told her I cant give any detail. The caller sound unhappy and hung up  without said thank u :p

Does anyone know how to report and blacklist this number to the government?

Got a call from the same number too....mine was worst..the lady said she's frm menara tamingsari but 03 is not frm malacca! She's offering goldcard or sth

I got the call from friday afternoon (13 april 2011) till monday (16 april 2011) from a malay woman claiming called from menara tamingsari. She said she is calling from Melaka, but the phone number appear to be 03!!  On Friday, I was asked to verify my IC number and my name for their discount card promotion. I was felt uneasy once she asked about the details of my credit card, which I didnt entertaint to inform her. I ask from her an email to my email account for the card promotion.  

On Saturday, I was called back by the same number informing me that this company had emailed to me and I found that there was no email from her regarding the product.  I called that number using but unfortunately nobody pickup the phone. I tried to google this number and found this link complaining that this is a scam!


On Monday morning,  I was called back by the same number and asking about the email that she had sent. I inform that I ddint receive any email from her. I scolded her for because I felt untrusted by her due to :-

a) asking credit cards information which was adviced not to be given to anyone (u may ask any bank about this)

b) saying that call form melaka but the number is 03!!!

c) Email nothing to my email (this is for me to trace her location once I get the email) eventhough she claimed that she had send 2 emails before.


SO BEWARE OF THIS

I got call from this number too, tell me that they will send a service card for me. Then start ask my details.

Of all above, same story as mine. When she asked my cr card number, i felt something not right. If she true from cr card company, she should have all the details.

The caller is very rude. She force me to accept their backup card. when i said no, she scold me and she just follow instruction from Maybank. i weird how she know my number and what product I use.

I said "saya tak berminat".
She got annoyed and said "takpelah tujuan saya nak berikan penjelasan since encik tak berminat, kami akan charge kan 500 ringgit ke akaun encik (slammed the phone)"

What nonsense is this?

A woman called me claimed she was from Card Centre, Menara Taming Sari. She said my name came up as one of those Visa and Master card holders who are going to receive a Service Card. She said it was not an offer but something that I must oblige to accept and the card would benefit my entire family. I asked how much I should pay for it she said about RM500 per annum. She would forward it to the bank for approval. I asked, what approval if it is a must to accept the card. I said if there is an approval, there must be an application, so I am not making any application or accept the card. She then told me ok and I have to deal with the bank about. The [***] thing is she didn't even tell me which bank. Why did they ever think that people are going to fall for their trick.

Don't think I would bother calling since you guys too gotten the same kinda calls which concludes the same intention from the caller.

jz got the call. a malay lady speaking in malay claiming from menara KL providing service card for master & visa credit card.

asking about a lot of private information.

after i asked her back a lot of question, she said got incoming call and will call me back later.

i just received a call from that number and the lady (caller) mentioned the same thing as above.

and then i just said in malay,"sorry i'm not interested. this is a scam for god sake!" (maaflah saya tak berminat! ini satu penipuan!)

then the lady said, "you have to be careful of what you are saying because all calls are recorded".

then i said, "should i care?" (as in malay "ada aku kisah?!~")

finally, i hung up!

Just got a call from this number too. Claiming she was from some Service Card company, insisted she spoke in BM, and when I asked what this was about she hung up.

A lady called me offering a supplementary platinum card from Maybank from this menara taming sari. I was a bit lost since I am actually expecting my platinum card from Maybank. The lady sounded very convincing as she read to me my I/C no. I told her that maybank already called me yesterday about my card, she ask me what number was it and advised me to be careful. I told her to wait as I check the number (03-58855700) and read it to her, there was actually a lot of noise over the phone and I hang up. I call the number back and someone else picked up. I told her that I'm looking for Irma / Irfa.
