can i track which company did call me?

My company received a call from a Mr. Kamal saying he is from Standard Chartered Bank asking for my personal details, saying that I applied a loan (which I never did) and they need confirmation.  I close my accounts like more than 10 years ago.  This is the third time such scam calls happened to me.  Earlier the person was saying from Honkong Shanghai Bank regarding my application for credit card which I never applied for.

Received a message saying to contact Daniel at 03 - 2614 5800 ext 312 or 016-6316922 to discuss outstanding SCB (standard chartered) account.

Never did or never have anything to do with SCB.

Same thing. SBC saying there's outstanding. Asked to look for Daniel. Never deal with Standard Charted. So pretty sure it's scam

IM FROM THAT COMPANY IT SELF. IF YOU RECEIVE THIS KIND OF CALL WALK IN TO Standard Charted DERICTLY TO INFO ON IT RATHER THAN COMMENTING HERE. IT FOR YOU GOOD AS WELL. OTHER MIGHT USE YOUR DETAILS TO APPLY LOAN OR CREDIT CARD

I received an sms said "URGENTLY CALL JASMINE AT 03-26145800 / 016-6316922 TO DISCUSS UR PAYMENT OPTION FOR UR UNSETTLED SCB CREDIT CARD A/CS." The truth is I never open any account at SCB & never have any credit cards for my whole life.

RM0.00 Urgently! Call Jasmine at 03-2614 5800 or WhatsApp to 016-631 6922 to discuss ur payment option for ur unsettled SCB account(s)

I called Standard Chartered Bank, they said it was a scam. Be careful!!!

SCB admitted this is their outsource company. Severe my ties with SCB many years ago. Ignored all the calls from this number and complained directly to SCB. SCB promised to instruct this company to stop calling me but right after this mail, the same number called.
Best is ignore this number completely and should you have business with SCB, deal directly with SCB rather than through them as you never know how they get your info. and how they will continue using your info

Im also just received the call frm same number a few time but i didnt picked up bcause its really looks like scam.

I received  this SMS from 63001 "RM0.00 Despite repeated reminders, u choose to ignore! PUT A CLOSURE to ur SCB outstanding a/c. Speak to PIC: Jamie at  03-26145800 or SMS/WhatsApp to 016-6316922. TQ."

I think this is a fxcking scam caller.. they spell my name correctly but with funny home address and girl's ic number. wtf ? the name u look for and voice are guy but ic number is a girl one. I already blocked this number. Feel like going to burn down their building, stop them from scamming others.

I have been experiencing the same thing. This same old number keep calling almost everyweek. And for sure is a scam because i dont have any business at whatsoever with SCB. My question is why the authority is not doing anything about this? Why the action is taken on this number. ?

I have just been told that this number called a 75 y.o man asking for payment to credit card which they alleged him  of owing 20 years ago. This man is now very ill and could not remember of any credit card.

Some of us might be using a recycled mobile number or land line. I also got calls from this number. The debt collector was trying to contact the previous owner. They got the number from telcos. The lady caller claiming from SCB debt collecting outsource company was quite [***] rude! [***]!

You can block the number with your mobile phone n will automatically reject the calls.

Called many times and everytime i told them dont mention further as soon as they claimed from SCB.  I hv no account or Anything ever with SCB.  I suspected they get our Numbers from merchant & Hotels coz often received such Call after a trip, within 5-7 days.
