fraud case pretend like police

Acting like a police. He will say that he arreseted a manager from bank and have your particular doing illegal money transaction. Will ask you to bring passport and bank statement to Bukit Aman office

I also received a call from this number on 23/8/2011 10.01am, acting like police seriously saying two men who involve in  illegal money transaction were arrested in Hong Kong. The arrested men had my photocopy of IC & credit cards with them. The acting police instruct me to bring my passport and IC to report to Bukit Aman Police Office before 5pm on 26/0/2011.

Same thing happened to my dad. Saying that he is needed at Bukit Aman for a fraud case. Have anyone reported this to the police.

Just received the call from this number this noon at about 12.15 pm.today  saying the same thing.  Don't they get fed up up of this prank.  Already bongkar and still want to try.  Mother of All Stupidity !

I also received 1 call from the same number today 13/9/2011. Threatening me if I do not present myself to settle the problem with them, they can detain me for 15 days. My response was: Encik, jangan Lu bimbang, saya tak pernah buat, saya tak takut. Kalau Encik nak jumps saya, mari dengan satu summon atau warrant. Saya akan panggil satu lawyer jumpa dengan Encik settle case ini.

If whoever do the scam read this, you can kiss your trick goodbye. BUKIT AMAN police works much smarter than you. But I really feel pity for the con. They can not able to con the elder or teenager, as they do not understand what they want. If they come to call middle age and youth class, their tricks sound like so naive and they act like a bunch of idiots.

100% SCAM ! Do not fall for this SCAM. They just want to blackmail you and ask for money. If you did nothing wrong. Do not be afraid!

He seem to prefer calling at the same time. Mine is around 12.10pm too.
This kind of crook must be doing a 9-5 job & follow a really stupid tight schedule lol.....
How come our PDRM never arrest this crook??????

I got a call from some one who said that he is from Royal Malaysian police and said blah blah blah and within 10 minutes i received 3 calls from the same number. But i got suspicious, so I cheked the second number which happens to be the fax number of Malaysia Interpol which is based in Bukit aman  as well....I started wondering why would some one from Interpol or bukit aman call me from a fax machine number...it happened 3 months ago but i never received any call from them. if interpol or police is looking for me...will they wait for 3 months to find that out especially I am a foreigner teaching in a private uni as an associate professor.

hahahaha what a bunch of jokers. When they called me I asked them a few questions which they refuse to answer and I slammed the phone on them. What a bunch of idiots.

i received a call from above no. & been told in Mandarin and said that my citibank bank book & I/C copy have been stole by 2 man. this police name Inspecter Lee. He get the report from HK police site.

I refuse his call \& said our police only will speak Malay to us, how come he talked mandarin to me ? . He said he can many language, but I ignore him put down the phone.

After that , he called again & speak in Malay. he said he's very angry that I cut his call, he warned me be careful & said since I'm not believe him, he will arrange the local police to catch me & bring me to his police station at Bukit Aman.

Can I beleive it?|

phone no. start by 0060xxxxxI sound like calling from foreign country, but it also look like KL's no.

I call out from my phone directly by dial 0060326163999 , it got ringing tone, but if I call from house phone to 0326163999 , it was nobody pick up the phone.

i called tel directory 103 , been told that Police Bukit Aman phone no. is 03 2266 2222

i also received called from this  number060326163999 saying he is inspector chong. if i failed to contact them, i willbw fine rm50,000 or 2 years jail.

story line almost the same as the rest...
alternative ways to handle this case is:
NOT to answer anything they ask you, your I/D,NAME,ETC...remember you are not obligated to answer anyone online.
just tell them to send you an official notice to your address from whatever department they are calling from... anyway that will be the actual procedure from any govn dept/authorities
OR just hang off if you are not comfortable talking.
