But they really want get out of retail banking since they are aggressively promoting PREFERRED (meaning plenty of money pple)BANKING. Their branches will reduce the manning of retail counters by 35% by year end.CIMB have lost sight of their roots origins and vision.Ingrates.
It is recession time,RM to US exchange rate is hitting 17 year low 0f 4.12.
CIMB is highly exposed to large corporate loans in US $. and  need cash flow bad.
UNLIKE other banks they ARE NOT offering 40 %,yes 40 % discount on lump sum settlement.CIMB ,a large banking group with large exposure to corporate loans.A Trustee company,their institutional shareholders are nervous.Yet they are above sponsoring GOLF tournaments with ALCOHOL drinks sellers. in the name of CSR.

They pay huge payroll for top management staff ..Altho they have plenty of assets, but cash is king today. they hunt for small and big debts.They to make large impairments soon.
They really expect pple who actually owe they money to call them back?Naive and amateur,Stingy.
And they are racking up huge bills with Telekom ,TNB.
They also owe Telekom,Celcom big time money.They are also very afraid of payback,since they are very visible. CIMB is high profile,,other parties can also access their records in EPF SOCSO,TNB,IRB,Customs GST.DBKL BNM. So anyone want to do open accounts or apply loan with  CIMB, do your homework  first.
