A chinese lady identified herself from AEON KL cost center - 03-2026 7949
A chinese man identified himself from Bank Negara requested me to log report - 03-269 88044

The above two telephone numbers appeared in internet as SPAM number.

How it happended:
1. a lady from AEON KL, called up during lunch hour..
2. Informed me - approval for application for AOEN credit card credit limit is not possible
3. Informed her - I am not owing any AEON credit card.
4. Informed me - application of card was in Johor / transaction in S'pore Sentosa Genting Reward
5. Card was charged ... no payment made
6. She offered to log report to BANK NEGARA, and block AEON credit care until further investigation
7. She offered me to write down the AEON  credit card # but i ignored
8. Less than 15 minutes after the call, a chienes man identified himself from BANK NEGARA, called.
9. He spoke in BAHASA MALAYSIA, stating AEON bank had just logged the credit card fraud case
10. Within 30 sec, he wanted to start "interview me".
11. As told, our phone conversation will be recorded.
12. He dont asked question in the "interview" - expecting me to speak out everything i wished to
13. I asked what would be the impact if info provided to BANK NEGARA
14. He said, no impact. Info will help them to further investigate
15. end of story

lunch hour call from no. 0320267949 said the same things that my credit card used at singapore sentosa and needs to upgrade limit. & bla....bla....after that said bank negara 0326988044 will call back for the case....penipu besar!!!!

genuine but bank negara no. but misused by scammers. beware! beware! bank negara will never call you. this is the number for you to call bank negara not bank negara call u.

got the same call today ... 1st is the pos malaysia say i never acknowledge the letter issued from high court... then follow by the inspector from bkt aman (+18774273368) who call me say he is from siastan khas for this case ...  say someone missed my ID to open bank account ,, then follow by the bank negara who  want me to transfer all my money with my foreign bank out to local bank for bank negara protection ,,real scam ,, ,

This morning I received a call (03-2612 8121) identified himself as UOB Officer from Collection department, saying that somebody using my IC applied for Master Gold Card. And charged twice at Genting Highland and Sunway Pyramid. He said this is criminal case, will lodge my case to Bank Negara - Pusat Pengurusan Kad Palsu, and the officer will contact me. Later on, I received 13 missed called from (03-2698 8044) while I engaged on my phone.

After searching the number 03-2698 8044 from internet, found out this is spam number. I have called UOB to inform them about this case.

I receive the same PRAM calls. Do not believe anything they said. Called the BANK CALL CENTRE to check balance if you have, if not, can call them to give IC number to check with them whether someone open/use your name to apply credit cards...

Received the same call at lunch time today. First from +603-2167 3000, he said from AMBank saying that I got MasterGold card with them and didn't pay. Then the guy offer to lodge my case to Bank Negara since I didn't own any AMBank card. Few minutes later, someone from BNM called, speak lousy BM to me offering help. He say need to record the conversation and asked me to talk. I googled and notice this is a scam. Called back BNM and AMBank using the number without +6 and they confirmed this is scam. So, beware!

today this afternoon received phone no:0355223000 say i did'nt pay outstanding amount 7k above at Affin bank credit card,I say I did'nt apply the credit card after that he say want pass to BNM, after 0326988044 call me say he take care my case, after lo lo lo after ask me take saving book, after I go google search is scam, I say him say I  want go to police station, he scape after cut the line.

Received call from 03-21673000, A guy named "Wong King Kiong" from Ambank collection department, asking me to make payment for the outstanding amount of RM9276.40. I never apply or own any Ambank credit card. He said I applied last year in Malacca!! I told him I have not been to Malacca for years. Then he offer to barred my card and report to BNM. I said " go ahead"!. Less than 5 minutes later, a BNM officer called (03-26988044). Wow!! tooooo efficient! That is why I suspect it is a PRAM call. His name is "Ng Hock Seng". Too weird. I told him I dont need his help as I will approach the local Ambank and lodge police report as weel as fraudulent report to local BNM is necessary.

Beware everyone.

i also received a call from Hong Leong Credit Card and said that I have an outstanding balance. I replied that i didnt own this credit card.
then 'he' transfer me to lodge a report. they gave me the report number and asked me to wait for 3 days for investigation.

I then call Hong Leong Credit Card to check whether someone had using my particular to apply the card. but suprisingly, i have never open any account with them.

the best part is....i disclose my full name, ic number and handphone number!! they also asked about what credit card that i am currently using? and which bank account is active.

what should i do? please advice me dear readers...

Received call from (03 21623222), A guy named "Enward Tham" from BSN collection department, asking me to make payment for the outstanding amount of credit. I never apply credit card from bank credit card. So he offer lodge to BNM want lodge to BNM, I agree on it. Less than 10 minutes, a BNM officer called Miss Cham (+603-26988044) contact me. Wow!! very suppeeerrrr efficient!  but i'm in scare that time, she do "interview" to enquire detail data from me. after that she pass phone to "investigate officer" called Encik Subri, he want investigate all my bank account in 2hour. the time he calling is 3:50pm, that means he want 'OT' until 5:50pm?? is weird... after that he want withdraw my FD to my personal account (with ebank). after that he pass phone to anooohttter officer to want do 'setting' on my ebank, she request my ebank username and password..... ok.... but veryyyy weird..... so I said password and username keep at home, the 'officer' ask me back home now and tell her...  now is not ok..... is something wroooonnnggg. Bank never asking personal username and pass..

she call back on 5:45pm.... looks she really want OT... when BNM allow their staff OT?? especially on Friday???

the most funny part is she give me the 'pengawai' (lim wei huat; 03-27884662) who 'handle' my case

this scam is very smart, know well the anti money laundering act (AMLA), and very good in threaten other

Caller from that end mention he is from RHB Bank. Dept Collecting department (+603-92878888). I DO NOT HAVE any accounts from RHB, and he manage to tell me my full name and IC number!
And he offer to lodge the case to BNM, WHICH BNM (+603-26988044)call in less than 5 minutes! (TOOO EFFICIENT!)

In the end, manage to search that both Numbers are fake!!!

I just received the same call from 0355223000, she claimed from Affin Bank. After I scold her and said i want to lodge a police report, immediately she put down the phone. Sound like indian lady.

claimed to be from Bank Negara to block my non-existant Citibank account. Definite scam

I was sleeping when I receive this call. This number appears as from Bank Negara  Malaysia but today is Saturday. I suspect  this is a scam call.

Dia perkenal diri dari Bank Negara. Bgitau ada hutang kad kredit hong leong belum dibayar. sudah 3 bulan tertunggak. Surat amaran ketiga telah dihantar ke alamat bla bla... Saya bagitau saya tidak pernah buat loan/apply card dgn bank ini. Dia bagitau mungkin ada orang lain telah menggunakan maklumat saya untuk apply kad kredit di Terengganu.Dia suruh saya buat report polis segera. Sebelum dia sempat cakap panjang lebar, saya minta no ruj surat tu dan bagitau nanti saya rujuk terus dengan bank Hong Leong. Dia bagitau akan call 2 jam kemudian. Saya sudah call bank Hong leong dan nama saya tidak tersenarai pun sebagai peminjam..so scammer??
