    Caller claims to be calling from Bank Islam in Damasara (tel: 03-21788889)

    Informed that I have credit card debt with Bank Islam.  Since I said I don't have a Bank Islam credit card, requested for me to report to Bank Negara's Pusat Pengurusan Kad Palsu at this number 03-27727331.

    Checked with Bank Islam's Card Centre (the real one) and it was confirmed that they don't have my record and that they have received other calls to report similar incidents.

    Just received a call from a Mandarin-speaking man claimed from HSBC telling me that my HSBC Visa Gold credit card is having an outstanding balance of RM3150 and that a transaction summed RM4xxx is being made at SenHeng. He claimed that I should call BNM 0327727331 to report. I just wonder why after so many years the same number is being used in fraud activities.
