got a call twice today first time no one there second time went on about banks pay back money at which point i said i was not interested and he hung up without even saying sorry or thanks

18:15 this evening, received a call from this number. As I screen all my calls and didn't recognize it, didn't answer. Does TPS actually work? I have been registered for ages but still get the calls!

Yep called again today at 1208hrs. How many times do you have to tell them to "F Off"?? Re the above comment am likewise TPS registered, and it just does not work.

You have to email a complaint to them with every individual phone number and its company details, that's pestered you, in order for them to get the TPS onto them.

Immediately after the above call, was called by 0034017458, no coincidence I suppose? I'll check that out too.

i got a call from at 15:22 on the 12th july 2011, They tried to get me to join in with the apparent massive numbers trying to claim money back from the banks. I said i wasn't interested and asked to know where he got my ex-driectory number from this made him hang up and i tried to call the number back but got nothing at all

yer its 17.36 on the 12th of july 2011,i never answer the phone.I always do a 1471,this number just came up,need to get a caller display really.apparently someone posted above its a company called consumer lifestyle

I've just received a call from this number, couldn't really under the person calling, something was mentioned about bank charges and owed millions,  I asked where they got my name and number from, no response, I then asked them to remove me from there records and the woman hung up.  Sounds very dodgy.

I just had the same call 5 mins ago from someone I couldnt understand,

just had call from same number, almost impossible to understand the lady, she mentioned large numbers .. reminded me of the nigerian dead family member scam ! LOL

she was polite enough anyhow.

Just received a call from this number asking for my son, I pretended to be his wife. They are from CNET asking about payment protection and bank charges. I just answered no to all the questions and they then thanked me and hung up. Don't think they will be ringing again because I told them I'd never had charges of any kind (as if) I was of no interest to them.

I just got called by this number and the woman on the end of the line was most rude and insistent I speak to her to answer a "few simple questions" to determine if I was eligible for any refunds from banks / credit cards / store cards etc.  I told her repeatedly she was cold calling me illegally as my number is on the telephone preference service and I would hang up if she didn't end the call herself...at which point I hung up on her.  It was also an awful line so I couldn't actually hear her particularly well and didn't catch the name of the company either - a set of initials I think it was.

Re my above message, I now recall the company name was CNET, like the other person above.

As we are TPS registered how is anybody able to get hold of our number?

dialed 1471 tried to redial but line goes dead?
whats all this about
i think its time we start sueing our line providers or the companies selling our ex directory numbers
if i need anything ill ring them
i do not want to pestered at home or work

Had 4 calls from this number on our house phone today, and they also left 2 messages on our answer phone. Both messages are just silence. There was also no answer from their end when we picked up the calls, just silence. Very weird and annoying. Been happening more and more recently!

Just received a call from "International" with number "Unavailable". I previously have not answered these calls but I am getting so many that I now answer them and threaten them with Solicitors. Probably won't do any good but it makes me feel better. Anyway this call was from CNET calling via VOIP. A very Indian sounding fellow who I could hardly understand wanting to talk about claiming back Bank Charges. I told him his fortune and told him to remove my number from their list. Some hopes!

Does anyone know who this CNET company is?

This number is still trying to make money by offering to collect your PPI owings!  Even knew my name.
Could not hear which company she was from, if she told me, as she had a strong accent and a very loud call centre behind her.

silent call four times now
