Called me at 10.14am 13 Jan 2011, stating that I have asked for increase in credit card limit to 20k.  Even stating my IC number correctly but I have said the IC number given was wrong.  I said that I have not even had a bank account with BSN, let alone credit card.  When I said that the IC number was not mine, he said that he will check and put down the phone.  Tried to call the number back but it's fax machine

Pls take note, another con job going around. I just got a call from a lady who claimed she from Bank Raykat KL HQ - she didnt identify herself & immediately away asked me if i had applied a Bank Rakyat credit card and quickly read out my I...D nbr which was correct but the address was in Sarawak. Ii wanted to check if it was genuine, i told her to call my office ( i gave my office nbr) Meanwhile i call the nbr ( 03-26129636 ) that appeared on my HP it went to a fax, abt 5 mins later i got a call at my office but there was no record shown on my office phone. at the same time i log into Bank Raykat's site. i asked her what was he r name ( Sharon Chin but she didnt sound chinese) and her current contact no which she gave as (36308889) which i asked my Sec to call and it was a fax nbr again
i confronted her that the nbr she gave was wrong. she immediately put down the phone..

haha when ii called bank rakyat and you know how the response was.. sori this is normal, some con ppl going aorund.. didnt even take my complain seriously..

Fraud case, calling to con for information, con you to call 03-27826815 and give your number. Don't fall for it

i received called from Simon Ong, via 0336308889.. saying i have called asking to increase my credit limit.. however due to SO CALLED me outstanding payment amounting to RM7750K they unable to do so..  my IC is correct but not the address.. How on earth 2 place like Miri + Sibu become one...???? i'm not stupid.. so i just play with his game... he even gave out his extension number 125.. told him i never visit indonesia jakarta before.. and asked him for the CC number 5892 ...

called Bank Rakyat Card Center.. Nope.. none.. on my name or was so ever... so now i made a police report.. send a set to Bank Negara + Bank Rakyat...

just receive a called from this no.

stating that i have a credit card with Bank Rakyat...damnn...i've not even have a credit card...

so he told my ID no and applied the card at Sibu,Sarawak..and i never been to any part of Borneo yet..

so called my freind at Bank Rakyat and he told me already receive alots of the SCAM happen to Malaysian now days...let pass the message to all our freind to ignore or be more carefull with this scam things...

Just received a call from this number - [FAKE] Bank Rakyat (Mr. Chong - ext 165). He told me that my request to increase my credit limit was rejected... gave me my ic number and name...bla...bla...bla... and then as usual, I've told him that I DO NOT HAVE any account with Bank Rakyat, so he gave me another number to report my case (03-2782 6998) [FAKE] Bank Negara - kad palsu.

Then I found the REAL Bank Rakyat number (online) and called them, they asked for my ic and name, confirmed that I do not have any account with Bank Rakyat.

So everybody, please very careful!

I got the third call just now... She asked for my bank account number and ic number...
She is like so friendly,I felt unsecure after i gave her my ic number and account number, at that moment i thought it is no harm to me , as i have no credit in the account.
But now i am worrying , what can she do with my ic number... Is it secure ???

ah so i guess i can safely assume that this missed call i received on my mobile is probably from similar moronic scammers.

i don't answer calls from unfamiliar numbers/ private numbers/ unknown callers/ non added contact details etc.. if they don't want to be identifiable... then geee, too bad, neither do i. simple.
