First call offering discount credit cards then rang back later in the day asking if my none existent sky box was working properly.

man with asian accent called saying he was from ministry of Justice (alarm bells started ringing!) and had I had any information regarding banks and building societies now charging )% interest onloans, etc. I replied that I hadn't and he said they would send me info... He knew my name and address but wanted to confirm how many bank accounts/ credit cards I had with which companies - obviously I refused to tell him. Big Scam! I 1471'd the phone and got this number.

This number called today and was retrieved from 1471 but whoever was on the end was having trouble connecting.Unusual as most are withheld or not stored. Other comments suggest questionable motives.

calls and says that someone from this number has dialled about an accident

a load of rubbish just a way of entering into some dialogue of trying to sell

something.He claimed his name was Adam but he had a dialect more in line with

being called Gupta

Phoned saying was from RBS about transaction made on credit card that was blocked by them. Asian lady asking about card details which were wrong and wanted to clarify them, when I challenged her got abuse from her when questioned again then she hung up.All made up of coarse.

Phone call 9:05 today, wanted to do survey about gas and elec, enter free draw and phone back this afternoon, knew my name and address, when I said i did not want to be entered into draw, he hung up.

Got call from this number when i asked who it was they hung up.. funny buggers!!

got call tonight 6.04 p.m. asked for me by my full name,,,, i said that i wasnt in and could i take a name to let her know when i came back (if you understand that).
they then hung up on me, i have been scammed lately from someone i believe is in Nigeria,,,, so am very wary about any phone call numbers i do not know.,,, do not give any information out,,,, it was and Asian sounding gentleman.

Does anyone know where this numner originates from,,,,is it a british number or is it foreign,,, i really like to know

Just had a call from this "number" on my Landline. Didn't say who they were calling from.

just had a call from a asian caller from this number telling me there is a virus going round ? put phone down the waster

Just had a call in warrington asking for the previous occupant, glad it wasn't gor me as they couldnt pronounce a simpler surname.

are we allowed b y law to find out who this caller is    presumably to get a phone number you have to supply details or is this another failure of the system by governments to increase the wealth of a few individals like fat cat bankers

Had a call today at 10.45am from a company called Nerd support, offering internet security and windows 7 for £185. Caller was female who then passed call to Asian gentleman who was very persitant during call at obtaining the purchase. He managed to access my system via team viewer and continued to sell the product throughout the call. I advised him I was unhappy with this and was hanging up. He was very arrogant.

6 calls in a week from this number, luckily I was not in for any of them, dialled 1471 and was advised "sorry this is from a network that was unable to transmit numbers" wonder how many more times they will call before they give up,

Had the scam "calling to check your sky box is working OK" line. I said 'right' and hung up. Robbing scamming barstewards!!!!!
