Scam caller pretending to be from the tax office, legal action coming for tax avoidance, warrant for arrest etc.  Asked me to ring the number above to pay the amount owing.  I did not!  I don't know whether the caller rang from this number either.

Got the same call today.

Beware if this phone number comes up. 0361214145,theyve rung twice in 2 days, i now have the number blocked but they also rang my elderly mother & left a message on her answering machine- I received a Message from the ATO from a man saying a legal course of action against for tax evasion and tax avoidance and if I didn't call them or my lawyer call them back on (03) 6121 4145 there would be a warrant for my arrest and they would forcefully recover the amount owed through legal court actions. They also said my house is under surveillance & that her phone was being monitored. These scumbags are very very persistent & very pushy. I googled the number & 100s of complaints came up about it. So beware everyone,these scammers are getting serious.

Same thing for me. Scammer. Just did my taxes so don't owe anything!
