Just got a call from this number...0381993485...on my mobile phone... second time in last two days...when I press connect they disconnect...when I return the call there is no reply...just a dial tone...who is it please and why are they doing this...30052012

I had a call from same number yesterday but when I answered the was nothing.  However they called again today and said they were calling from The Acadamy of Learning'. I just said I wasn't interested in anything they were offereing and hung up!

Scammers from who knows where and this has to be stopped
I tried to call the number back and it had an international dial link tone and
Off course no answer, previously in the past 2 days I've had texts saying I won an
iPad 2 from telstra... That's not even a provider of mine....

I've had 4-5 calls a day from this number each day this week to my mobile. It cuts out every time I answer. It's annoying...

Ive had about 5 a day for the last three days its so frustrating!!!

Yes, it happened to me too in the past 3 days
Today it happened again they called me around 1pm  the number was 03 81993485 . and thy hung up. Who the hell are you ???????  STOP…STOPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!

They call me again today 2 times in the next 3 hrs. Stop calling me it’s so frustrating.. STOPP!!!!!!!!!!

Been having the same problems, you can have your home phone provider block up to 15 numbers I was told the other day, I get anything up to 20 + calls , it's Bullinging, also watch out for other numbers 07 56098599 and 08 82439289, they won't give up. Just Don't answer it if it comes up with these #s, it gives them control over your life by knowing they are annoying us, so I don't anser them now, my life doesn't include these lowlife bullies, I feel for the elderly like my father, who are possibly unawhere of who these critters really are!!!  and may give out personal imformation about themselves. Something has to be done to Stop these people!!!

We are on the no call register and we keep getting phone calls from the number 03 81993485. They call, I answer, They hang up. Sick of it.. This is a buisness and your wasting my time!

I had had the same thing happen today. Also, the other day I had a call from overseas saying it was Telstra calling about my account, yet they apparently didn't have any of my numbers. Surely there is some way of stopping these scammers or making them accountable for harassment???

Yes, our company has been receiving calls from this number for the last 2 months - three times a week - everytime we answer it we ether have no one on the other end or they hang up on us. Very annoying and I would love to get my hands on these timewasting idiots...

Do any of you have call forwarding from another phone.

I have my landline forwarded to my mobile whenever I am not in the office.

This ends up costing me (telco provider charges me for each call forard) on a call by call basis being forwarded, since they always call during business hours.

I would not be surprised if this is the telco trying to make some money!!
