should be. coz I filled out the GoSwitch form a few days ago.

03 8256 6763 calls me up to half a dozen times a day and NEVER leaves a voice message!

yeah its goswitch, they are unbelievably persistant at following up on the form I filled out. I already got electricity months ago via another method but they still call me occasionally...

have received up to 5 calls by 3:00pm today 8.03.12

i agree thanks i will answer next time just can never tell with these vic numbers could be chasing up a late fee debt or something lols

Why won't these people just leave a message!!  It's so annoying that companies seem to assume we are just sitting around waiting to answer a phone, thats why the messagebank is turned on so you can leave a message - calling 5 times a day

I have never heard of them! Yet I have received at least 6 calls each day for the past week with an empty voice mail each time from 10sec to 90sec duration. I am not near my phone when they call but leave a message!

Im so over it I receive minumum 10 calls a day btw home and mobile am so fed up ,no messages are left cant they get the message it been going on for over a month , it may come down to having to change my number

I've had 2 calls in the space of 15 minutes. As I have guests I'm not answering. The Go Switch form said business hours and I do not consider 6.45pm - 7pm business hours. If they are from an electricity company then they won't get my business by calling during the evening. Again if they cannot respect a persons privacy and call during the requested business hours then I want nothing to do with them.

I too have been having calls from 0382566763 at least 8 times every day. They never leave a message and this is harassment of the worst kind. How can someone get away with these nuisance calls. What can be done to stop them? If I had a disabling feature on my phone I would stick their number in so it would not come through.

Drives me up the wall, repeatedly calling constantly day and night. There is not an option to block on my phone which I only use for emergency. I filled in a survey recently asking about switching providers and I said no. Obviously it ignored what I said, looks like I won't be filling any more surveys.

Glad to know it's Go Switch, They had booked a date and time to call back and they missed it. Then 2wks later I received 8calls on day1, 5calls on day2 and already 2calls on day3; no messages were left, now I know who it is, I'll answer.

I have been recieving up to 10 calls a day from this number over the past 3 weeks with no msg left,some calls are 5mins apart I have emailed go switch to stop the harassment calls to no avail.i am on the do not call register but doesn't seem to matter.

Yes, it's GoSwitch...they worked out I should stay with my current supplier (AGL) but could get up to a 9% discount.....all good 'til they wanted date of birth etc, which I was unhappy to give all to any caller..

I receive calls from this number too. I answered today, and the call was terminated immediately. After looking at this site I googled GoSwitch and called 1300 042 908. Call answered by operator in Manila, Philippines. She told me that this was not one of their numbers???? However, she then proceeded to tell me that it is a computer generated call which is why it disconnects when answered?????? The purpose of this is baffling......one can only assume that they dial numbers hoping to get a call back. I haven't read all posts, but perhaps the references to GoSwitch are designed to get them calls as well. Not sure how this works. Do they get money from the calls to 1300 numbers? I know it's frustrating and you just want to tell these people to buzz off, but ultimately they don't care let's face it, so just ignore the call and DO NOT call any of the numbers as you are just doing exactly what they want. BTW she did offer to put my number on a list so that I wouldn't receive anymore calls, but wanted to know my first and last name which is when I did tell her to buzz off.

I also received 12+ calls in a matter of 5hours. That's more than 3 per hour and that's only today. I admit i did fill out a form interested in someone from GoSwitch to possibly do a comparison of the electricity providers And then tell me which were the best deals for me but getting so many calls a day is ridiculous and harassment. I can't say its uncalled for as I did fill a survey out but it is harassment when u receive calls from 9am to 7pm or later sometimes. I assume the company gets paid from 1) u answering the phone and telling them that h did the survey and blah blah blah 2) u switch to another utility provider and they get paid commission from the new provider for switching ur business over to them 3) I haven't answered any of their calls yet so don't know what they ask but I wouldn't be surprised if they do a short survey on the phone with you and the phone operators get paid for filing surveys with GoSwitch which they then have ur personal information on their database and therefore a powerful marketing tool and extremely valuable information to businesses as it can direct certain products at you since they know ur profile.
I will try to stop the phone calls and if all else fails then just answer the call and say I'm no longer interested which will most likely be the only way of getting GoSwitch to stop calling. I'm glad other people are making the same complaints and maybe GoSwitch should change its contacting policies and methods before the ACCC or other bodies get involved because I do think its unwarranted for any business to call you 10-20 times a day.
