They are looking for my partner who passed away on 17th December 2011 and afrter telling them this in Janurary 2012 they are calling me now daily and telling me that I have to pay the debt I am now taking this further legally and they are ment to stop calling me and emailing me which was made by the magistrate at the Downing Centre Local Court in Sydney NSW but this is not stopping them it is not hard enough that I am grieving for my partner but I am being harrassed by this company the worst thing I did thinking I was doing the right thing telling them my name and telling them that the person that they are looking for is my partner but now they think they can hassle me I have changed my phone number and they found it although my new number was silent so I have changed it again under my daughter's name but they keep on emailing me.

Holy crap ain't they a bunch of obnoxious pricks. Rudest peeps I've ever  encountered.
Just so you know guys. You don't have to give them your details even though they demand it.  
I can imagine their recruiting process " yes you're the biggest prick out of everyone we have interviewed,  the job is yours"

Just had a call from them. These days, if anyone phones that I don't know then I check online to find out who they are. Glad I did on this occasion so next time I can record their banter then report it to police, ACCC, comcare... and the media.

ARL ..Australian Receivables Limited..yes very rude...eBay!!! yes eBay uses this company if you owe them money. Ignore it...I had them ring me consent over $10!!!..I apparently owed eBay. I never sold anything on eBay............ I owe eBay squat!!!!!!!..f*#k you eBay f#*k you to hell,  and you little [***] sucking Debt Collector. I just ended paying the money to loose them.

I'm in debt and they want me to pay $15,000 to them, I don't know you how about you give me that much and we will call it even! Go back to Russia

Ignore them. There is nothing they can do unless you willing give them your name and details.

They are relentless........ sick and tired of getting called at all hours.....ok so I owe some money but geeez do they have to harrass you day and night.

Owe iinet $15 from my last bill when they shouldn't have charged me. I told them to credit me as I transferred my number to a new company how could I owe them a month of phone credit when it wasn't with them. They sent it to collectors ARL and have them randomly calling me

I dislike how they expect you to have a credit card an ask if you can make full payment.. honestly if they let me pay something i could afford fortnightly, instead of agreeing to something i can't (some over the top amount) . It would slowly get paid off..  or they just hang up on u

Just change your number or block them on your phone, why would you continue to be hassled, [***] them

I use the trucaller app to block any calls from them so my phone never rings but almost daily I receive a text saying they have tried to call about a private banking matter & to call them back, which I will not ever do! The debt is for an amount of $120 that I'm currently disputing with Ebay which for all you people above saying they're being chased for $10 by ARL THIS IS ILLEGAL !!! In Australia, NSW a company may not pass on your details for monies owed until the debt is over 90 days & even before then two written intentions to pass on your details must be MAILED to you!! Further to that if the debt is under $150 they may never pass on your details to a debt collector !!! So if you are experiencing anything like that with ARL do not engage with them at all but do seek out the correct avenue for making a consumer complaint against them as that is the only way to really influence the way they operate :-/
