I'd like to know what's going on with this number.  It rings and hangs up before you get a chance to answer it.  If you do get to it in time.... silence.  If you call it back it's either engaged or rings out to a recorded message saying you can't leave a message.

Im wanting to know why someone is calling my mobile number.
when i ring the number 038554 6299 you cannot leave a message.
this is now becoming annoying and frequent

Everyday when I get home from work for the passed 2-3 weeks I have had missed calls from this number on my home phone.

they ring and hang up, or just a male laughing. Idiots.

I've had missed calls from these guys too...wierd.

I just had a call from this number .. if I don't recognise the number i just don't answer ;)

I have had a call from this number too! The phone rang three times and when I picked up, the engaged signal was all I heard. It really spooks me!!!

I receive calls from this number but they never leave a message, I would like to know who it is

We have received calls from this number over the last couple of months - usually as missed calls and when I do *10# to see who has called, this is the number that had phoned.

I'm glad I'm not the only one with these phone calls from that number. Does anyone know who the hell this is and what they want. Are they obtaining any sort of information from us???? Surely after reading this web page someone must have some answers.

BINGO!!!! I have just found out the caller from 0385546299. SPASTIC CENTRE OF AUSTRALIA. I explained to them all of the above complaints and mine as well. She says sometimes she can hear someone and they cannot hear her of no one is on the other end, phone numbers come up on the screen and then they disappear. She has put it to management that this is happening and hopefully fixed. I guess you can ring the Spastic Centre and have your name taken off the phone list. Also after speaking to Telstra re these phone calls, go to www.donotcall.gov.au and register your phone numbers so you don't get any telemarketing calls.

I have calls from that number from "Canteen" charity , have donated before. It must be a call centre for a number of charitys. None of these people will leave messages, but they are persistant, keep trying to catch you at home. The donotcall register does not apply to Charitys, only Telemarketers etc. I do not answer Private numbers, as usually after money too. (I respect their privacy)

We have received calls from this number on a regular basis. They hang up if you answer and when you call them back to see who they are, the phone rings out. It's getting to be really annoying and I'd like to know who it is so that I can tell them to take a hike.

Really strange call, wanted my parents that they were out and i asked whos calling and i quote "Just a charity mate!, thats all just a charity" i think that its a hoax!DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY DETAILS TO THIS NUMBER

Don't blame the charities... the telefundraising company seems unable to efficiently manage their predictive dialler.

Had a missed call from this number. Tried calling back but got a busy signal. Finally got thru but it rang out.

I got a call asking for my recently late sister on her phone which I still keep charged.
They asked for her by name and when I asked who's calling? They said Spastic Centre.

The guy I spoke to when I answered the phone said he was a group that was previously called Guide Dogs for the Blind
