missed call at 2.36pm. they didnt leave a message. any ideas?

This number has rung our landline and twice on our mobile...........we have not been available to answer. Appears to be a nuisance call.

This is the number for Ambulanceound victoria... Its their outbnumber.. they call to remind you of your overdue/lapsed memberships...

Call came into mobile - when I answered it after 2 rings it disconnected.

I have received a call today at 1:07pm and on 09/10/2009 at 1:37pm. Both times i answered within a second the other end hanged up.

This number has called both my land line and my mobile on two separate nights, my wife answered the first call to the land line and someone asked for me by name - first and last name, but would not give details on who it was calling - claimed that they were calling regarding some mail that they had sent me. Said that they would call back.

My wife answered the call on the second night on the second ring and they just hung up.  Ignored both calls to mobile as do not know the number.

got a missed call - know a few people in Vic and thought it may be one of them. When I called back get a message about it being a number which is not in service

Called number back - response Unassigned number

A person with a strong (possibly Indian)accent called my mobile phone thismorning at 10.51am claiming to be from Telstra. They asked me to tell them details such as my birthdate and password etc. They told me I need to do this because there was a problem with my mobile phone and I had to prove it was me in order to fix the problem. I gave no details.
At the same time I had no access to my Yahoo mail. It was as if my username didi not exist. I believe the person who rang me was hacking into my yahoo account at the same time and trying to obtain information regarding internet banking and other private accounts.


...I'll also add that I called Telstra and they knew nothing about any problems with my mobile phone or my account history.

DO NOT give out any information to anyone especially if the number 0386126900 shows up on your phone.

...I'll also add that I can now log onto my yahoo account again and my account name does exist again. Very sly I must say!!!

Caller called landline (silent number) but didn't say anything, office noise could be heard in background. They hung up then called Mobile 20 seconds later, this time someone with indian accent eventually answered claiming to be from Suncorp Bank (Queensland bank with Vic number???) trying to sell life insurance.

I have received numerous calls on my landline today from this unassigned number today and one on my mobile. I answered neither.  It seems likely to be used by scammers of every kind.

An interesting point I wanted to raise - I called Telstra last night. I'm wondering if there are criminal elements within telstra that are passing on details?

Rang my mobile. Indian accent. Wanted password. Said he was calling from Telstra/Retravision. I bought by mobile from Retravision. I rang Retravision. They said they thought it might be Telstra trying to get me into new contract.I sent link to this website to Retravision FYI. Caller rang partners mobile on Friday. Same thing trying to get DOB/password. Also said he was from Telstra/Retravision. Obviously very dodgy. Where do they get the information from???

they called my mobile but i didnt answer. they left a message asking for me by my first and last name, but no mention of who was calling, hence why i looked up the mobile number on the internet coz it was suspect.

Missed call from this number on my mobile. When I rang it back it said "unasigned number" (same as above). Looked it up just now and wow, check out the response!

this person has tried to contact me over the last month...and today no less than a dozen calls.....same tried to call back and got unassigned number....bit dodgey i think and after reading comments above i'd steer clear

I accidentally hung up before taking the call. I tried to call back but was told the number is 'unassigned'. The number is for a call centre that do out bound calls for banks and telephone company's. The company is on Williams St, Melbourne. Au.

Yeah, i got 2 calls today. One on the landline and one on the mobile.. Same stuff all over again, Just dont bother answering it. Just plain old telemarketing. This time from the CBA.
