Had a missed call from this number and they didnt leave a voice msg, they called again and the hang up with in the 1st few secs. anyone know anymore?

This person (8646 8775) called and knew my name. They said they were from ANZ bank and wanted to confirm a recent address change (which I had changed). Then they asked me if I needed home and content insurance on my new address. I said no and they referred me back to the ANZ general phone number. I then called ANZ and there was no record of them calling me. I called the above number and it was a message from "ANZ" saying that one of their staff had called and would try calling again at a more convenient time.

Got a call from this number but I was at the gym and my phone was on silent. I actually don't know anyone close enough from Melbourne to give them my mobile number. My company has branches in Melbourne and I talk to them occasionally but that's always on the corporate network not over mobile.

I've had 3 calls from this number recently that I've answered.  All 3 times I answered and had just silence at the other end.  What is odd is that after the last of these calls, I didn't get a dialtone back for a couple of minutes - which I guess means they still had the line open from their (initiating) end.

BTW I have no business with ANZ.

Caller rang business number and asked to speak to me and said was from my bank and when I enquired about the bank name could not give it due to privacy act but said his name was SASH and then siad woudl try my mobile!!! and did and I let it go to message bank but picked up the called id .

I hate this sort of harrasment.

Had a call from this number earlier today and established they were calling from ANZ. The call wasn't about a recent Address Change though, staff member mentioned the team calls for different reasons and must display this number as part of the Do Not Call Register. Staff member was very helpful.

I just give every business my voicemail number which I have with PennyTel now. If its important that they contact me, they can always leave a voicemail message. I received a call recently but they did not leave any voicemail message.

It's ANZ. Don't waste your money and call them back. You'll get a machine that tells you that you are on a list and will be called back. [***]. It's not enough that I give them my money, now they want to stalk me in my personal time.

I received a call from this number, regarding a compromised ANZ account. I stupidly provided my details and it only occurred to me afterwards that it might not have been legitimate.
I rang ANZ straight back and was put into the queue for "Card Services Priority Response", found out this had been a legitimate call and was able to check details not given in the previous call. My call took less than 5min all up.

After the 3rd call from this number, also with silence at the other end, I got fed up and rang back. Yes, it is ANZ. I am a customer so I rang the ANZ Ph No their message gave for customer care - 131314 -. I went slightly ballistic and was very politely offered to go on their "Do Not Call" register for marketing. I said YES PLEASE ! I am hoping that will be the end of it.

Yes, ANZ. I wish they'd left a message so I could call them back at MY convenience. I came back from 2 weeks holiday to find 12 missed calls from this number.

I received a call on my mobile, bad reception my end made it drop out after hearing a faint intro.
I do not have any banking with ANZ and never have had any with ANZ, so I don't know why if it was them that they'd be calling.

The call was about ANZ E-Trade... was a valid call, they didn't ask me for any personal details. Seemed legit to me!

Please call me at 4.30pm today or any days at 1pm.

I too received a call from this number, they just hung up when I answered.
