I have experienced the same number the last 2 days around the same time of day. I haven't tried to answer the call but when I call back I get a funny sound.

Does anyone know who this is?

I know who it is now.... it was Priceline calling about some life protection deal they have in conjunction with their Priceline membership cards

They have been calling me too!! The first time there was someone asking me how I was, then I answered and the call just dropped. The second time I answered, there was no sound at all from the other end. The next day they called me twice, I didn't pick up the phone.

please tell me who is making this call as when i try to reply it makes a weird noise.

I have received approximately 1 to 2 phone calls a day for the last week on my mobile phone until 15th July 2011, which is when I received 3 calls before 3.00pm.    When I answer the calls there is silence or mechanical clicking on the line.  

I returned the call and only get a busy call.

It is becoming a nuisance!

this is soo annoying if it isnt this number I get calls from WA. I have now blocked this one so hopefully no more annoying calls. Obviously our personal details are being exploited to any damn company. Damn technology!!

I have received calls from the above number twice.  I have tried calling the number back, only to get a busy tone.  I guess if they want to talk to me they will have to call me back.

have recieved call from this no twice today(20/07) and last Friday(15/07) and if i tried to call back there is a strange noise caming

Have received 2 calls a day on average from this number which ive ignored, today i tried to answer but it disconnected early, and yeh when i try to call back its a funny engaged signal. I thought it was Westpac trying to sell my something! So i think i'm going to try and bar this no. At least im not alone!

received couple calls from this number and another number 0386778453. Didn't pick it up as I believe it's from marketing companies who try to sell you something.

Received several calls from this number and another number (03 8677 8453) during the week. They never leave a message on the mobile and I believe they are calling the home phone as well since they are also not leaving any voice messages.

I have received between 3-5 calls from this number a week. When I've called them back I've got a busy signal, and when I've answered there is silence on the other end. First I thought it might be a telemarketing switchboard for calls originating in another country (such as the Philippines or India), but even after I waited awhile there was no transfer.  Now I'm starting to wonder whether it's a scam & I'm going to be charged for the calls I've answered & the ones where I've tried to call them back? Either way, it's so annoying!!!

I have been getting phone calls for about 2 weeks at least once a day, sometimes twice. I have ignored because I am suspicious. When I call back on a landline I get an engaged signal. It sounds very similar to everyone elses experiences. There must be a way to report them and get them to stop.

yeah i just received the call now ? and they just ask for my name and last name and just hung up. I thought that was really weird and suspicious. Thanks for posting up who this is. When i tried to call back all i get is a busy ring tone. Just 2 mins ago on 5/08/2011 11.30am Bloody woke me up!

I called Priceline and they said it was an arm of their club card and yes it's annoying and they've had a huge number of complaints. They've taken me off the call/email list now.

they have been calling me since last week, and it's been 4 times today, which i rejected rightaway.
I guess since it's Friday, they have to work twice as hard.

and it is a complete nuisance!
