got this call about 6 times today asking 4 sandra. there is no sandra here. is this a scam?????

got five calls from this number. last call was my own message saying hello, hello hello, then they hung up. they had recorded me then rang back and played my own voice which was picked up on my answering machine recall was from R.A.C.V.

I had 2 missed calls from this number while I was at work, rang it back and it was racv, I gave them my name and number but they couldnt tell me why I was called, they said they had no record of it, strange as I have only had this number for about a month, and not many people have it, very odd

numerous calls....no response from other end.

Received a call from this number but there was nobody on the other side.  If, like others on here say, it was the RACV then that makes it even stranger - I'm not a member and do not have my number listed anywhere.

ive had 2 calls from the number aswell today :S

I keep getting calls from this number, but there is nobody on the other end! Sometimes they hang up straight away, other times they hang on! One time I did hear someone put the phone down! Don't know if this is a scam but I have taken my credit card details off my telco website etc!

i got one missed call from this number at 2.35pm today.

weird, i got the same call at 2:19pm today!
Must be some auto dialler try to detect faxes etc.

Had 2 calls from this number today.  I am already on the do not call register.  Who do I make a complaint to?

Received two missed calls yesterday 2.07pm, and another this afternoon at 12.36pm
I typed this number (03 8792 4000) into a Google search, hoping i'd find some details, and ended up here. Yet to answer the call.

I was called by this number on my mobile phone today at 12:45pm.
The number showed up on my phones screen, so it was not hidden.
I answered the call but nobody replied. It sounded like there was some movement in the background and I could faintly hear somebody talking - could have been on another line.
After saying "Hello" and number of times and then "I can't hear you" I rang off.
It is the irst time I have had a call from this number.

I've received numerous calls from this number, I said "Hello Hello"....No response from other end, then they hung up.

Last call was today at 2.32 p.m.

They call, it goes to answering machine, they hang up. No message. I do not know the name of the company, just this is the number showing on my phone..

I have been told, the scam works by calling them back. It was on ACA or Today Tonight. They make money their by people calling that number. They do not answer just hang up. There was a similar scam in Queensland about two years.
So whatever you do, do not redial.

I am so glad I found this message log. I've been getting a call from them everyday for the past week. I haven't yet picked it up. Its good to know that this is some kind of scam.. I'll just keep on ignoring the calls!

this number rang thru to my mobile just a few mins ago, when i answered there was no one on the other end. the call lasted a mere few seconds and then disconnected.  thought i'd google search the number and this is where i've ended up. scam or what??
