calls at all times of day and night. no message left. woke me at 11.30pm last night. not happy!

Sounds to me that they are DEBT collectors,trying to recontract with you.Ask them for their I.D who they work for,they should and have to tell you.
Ask them to send out a Tax Invoice,not a Statement,to the address that they have on record for that person that they claim owns this "Debt".
Nobody owns a 3rd party anything,ask for the contract that they have with your signature on it,they can't produce it! The Bank has sold them the Debt for cents to the dollar,it's been sold on,thet don't hold the note!
Google search and read the "Debt Collection Guideline for collectors and creditors".

who is this who keeps ringing my mobile?

I wanna go slap them for calling so late at night.

you keep saying it is debt collectors, I don't have any debt, I only just opened a bank account with NAB so why would they be calling me?

same here. just opened an account with NAB within the past 4 weeks. i answered, call was disconnected.

I received this call to my mobile at 12.11 today, and answered in my usual way " Lxxxx speaking". The caller identified herself as calling from NAB but didn't give a name. She then asked me what my name was again and then identified herself as calling from NAB for valued customers to see how things were going and if I was satisfied. I didn't listen any more since I told her  she had interrupted me in a meeting.

Caller claimed to be from NAB.  Claimed not marketing.  Yeah right.  Then wanted personal info from me to confirm I was account holder.  Claimed they took security seriously.  Yeah right.  I hung up.

I have had at least 5 calls 3 on Mob two on land line, ignored them both, I am with NAB and they will never call you on your MOB and will never ever call late at night. This is most probably a scam going they are trying to get your personal info if you ignore the numbers they will eventually give up.

I have had 11 calls from this number in one day.
I wonder how they'd feel about harassment if they got 11 calls in one day.

I have been in Australia for 3 weeks and already all kind of telemarketers are calling me?! I have no debt so it can't be about that. I'm definately ignoring that number and I recommend others to do so.

That's the Attorney General in Malaysia, lol... it's an Australian number that is calling me... and since I just signed up for a NAB bank account last week, I'm guessing that's who keeps calling...

they are probably ringing to sell you an insurance policy...such as income protection and the like...

yeah.. its NAB. FPRU department. basically trying to get you to set up an appointment for financial planning. they do continue calling a bit but if you say your not interested generally they will let you go.
