It was 24/7 Direct - Life Insurance. Wanting to see if you have insuyrance and get a free quote.

This number has called me 4 times this week. I haven't answered any calls but they have not left messages. Always suspicious when someone is so persistent to call but not prepared to leave a message

called me just now... was ignored

called and hung up a few times..

Saw the number so i said nothing when answering.. Heard the switch over to the cold caller centre.. that's when I press MUTE!  they said hello hello.. I sit there laughing.. they hang up and 'usually' class the number as not working.. and they dont' call back.. hehehehehe

doesn't always work.. but at least I don't have to talk to them.

Answered a call from this number, got a pre-recorded message saying good-bye and then hung up on me!

Insurance cold calling.

Finally answered this call today and they identified themselves as 24/7 Direct and wanted to ask me about my life insurance and income protection policies. She Insisted that they were not trying to sell insurance over the phone, and that it was a "courtesy call". When I told her that I had existing policies she thanked my for my time and said goodbye. Haven't called me since.

24/7 Direct is a telemarketing agency who provide services to large companies. So not really a scam, just a pain in the [***]. Best bet is answer the phone and tell them you don't need the product. They'll remove you from the call list.

24/7 Direct Life Insurance. - They called my mobile phone 2pm on a Friday.
I am on the DO NOT CALL REGISTER and politely asked to be removed from there listings. They agreed.
If they call again I will report this to the ACMA as it is illegal for them to contact anyone on the register.
You can register your number online - https://www.donotcall.gov.au/‎
They'll keep calling until you answer and tell them to remove your number.

I blocked the number from my phone just added it to the reject call list so that they can no longer call me.

Same here, simply the number to my reject list.

Got a missed call today. No message. Have been called about insurance before so likely the same telemarketers.
