i missed this call i am expecting call for job

Yes, had these calls at 12:00 pm on Monday and 12:01 pm on Tuesday (today)
RIng back, but rings out

dont bother calling back - complete waste of time - if they do call again say you dont own a phone & hang up before they do!

this no rings, hangs up thrn doesnt answer when called

Just got a call from this number again, have had calls from this number before, I have just made a complaint to the government through the donotcall site which the government provides, hopefully something will happen.

Received a call from Paul at Simply Tel from this number, trying to change over Telstra customers & when I declined he was very rude & hung up on me. Tried to call him back & no answer.

Received a call from this number today, I answered and they just hung up. I'll be returning the "courtesy" should they ring back.

I get this call from them few times too lately. No one says anything when I answer. I tried calling them. No one answer either.

Maybe it's the other side trying to contact us. lol the dark side of the mood or john edwards crossed over buddies.

This call came from a company called SimplyTel, who is a telco reseller . (http://www.simplytel.com.au/contact.html)

When the call commences, the caller attempts to pass themselves off as a Telstra staff member offering to save you money on your existing Telstra bill. It is only after you ask further questions that they tell you that they are actually a reseller. They sounded very dodgy to me.

Got a call from them this evening. Caller started the conversation by advising me he is changing over my Telstra account (I am not with Telstra BTW) to Simply Tel. I advised him that he WILL NOT be doing this. He then said I would be staying with Telstra and that I would receive my bills from Simply Tel. I advised him that this WOULD NOT be occuring. The conversation continued on in this fashion until I hung up. This is the level Telstra has decended to; hiring the services of a company to ring you up and advise you of "changes" to your billing in the hope you will say "Oh, I didn't know that, thanks for advising me" just so they can claim you "agreed" to go back to Telstra when you end up at a Ombudsman tribunal.

Went to voicemail - no message left - but garbled voices in background

Got a call from this mob today, very pushy,would not take no for an answer,I finaly won, but they rang back ten minuits later ,I just hung up.

Second call this week.   Anyway, i gave Simply Tel  on 1300 822 955 a courtesy call to ask to speak to the "business owner" just as they do, apparently the business owner was not there so i got through to a manager.  

They are not Telstra resellers and do not represent Telstra.  I fired the telemarketer questions back to him, how much does he pay per month, does he want unlimited calls etc.  He was a real sport he played along, says that the call center do not deserve their 2c commission sometimes.  

I made him aware that their telemarketer caller claimed to be from telstra.  Put him on hold til he hung up.  Waste my time, i'll waste yours buddy!

This number keeps calling, no one there when I answer and no one answers when I call back. How can they be stopped from calling?

Just had a call from this number in South Australia at 9am.
Went like this:
Me: "Goodmorning, how can i can i help you?"
Him: "Hello, my name is Matt, I'd like to speak to the business Owner. It's regarding the landlines".
Me: "Sorry, he's not in the office at the moment, could i take a message?"
Him: "Sure, if he could give me a call back on 03 9765 13 go f*ck yourself-"
At that point he quickly hung up. I was surprised, he sounded friendly, and i wasn't being rude. What a nice way to start the morning.

Same thing, calls but no one there and hangs up. No answer to call back.  PITA

Why hasn't this mob been culled yet?

Got a call on the work line today.  Similar to above, the caller claimed to be from Telstra offering me a special deal for "small business customers".

I asked her to confirm what number this was in relation to, and she quoted off the number she had dialled.  I informed her that this number was not provided via Telstra, and she hung up on me!  At least I didn't have to argue, I guess.
