"Comms Direct" on behalf of Vodafone. Automated voice machine.

This number called my mobile today, 21st June 2010, at noon. I didn't respond. A few minutes later came a call from a private number - perhaps the same people, perhaps not.

I also got a missed call today 21/6/10 from same number, i hate these calls!

I got a missed call to my mobile for this number as well at 12:57 21/6/2010. At 12:35 I had one from a blocked number. Im guessing both the same people.. I never answer blocked calls.

I also got a call from this [***], I think it's dept collection or something similar.

I also missed a call from them, they can take their Vodafone 99 plans and go stay at the [***] off hotel

i just recieved a call from them, i was working so i couldnt answer. f offfff !!!

Got a call from this number on my mobile, I didnt answer it as I am getting lots of calls with similar looking numbers. I rang them back and the recorded message  was a company acting on behalf of vodaphone. I hate these calls, they make me so angry. I am a shift worker and only leave my mobile on during the day so that sick family members can call me in an emergency,

I got a call today as well, comms Co. wanting to talk about vodaphone plans.If you phone them back and listen to all the options wait untill option 3 , which is opt out from future calls. It should stop them from calling you. (in theory)

Got a call from 039005068 didn't answer in time . Rang back on silent number got an answering machine that said thankyou for returning our call you have ( or we are ) Comms Direct for Vodaphone . I then hung up before it went any further.

Got a call from them on Friday 23 July at 11:20am whilst at work. Took the call but there was only silence. Let the silence go on until they ended the call. Pointless phonecall.

Got a call from 03 9005 0868, would like to find out who's calling.

Also got a call from these guys on 26th July 2010, just after 11am.

Managed to answer it but they hung up without saying a word after 2-3 seconds.

Phone them back and listen to ALL the options wait untill option 3 , which is opt out from future calls. It should stop them from calling you. (in theory). They're cheeky as there is a lengthy pause before option 3 which would lead some to think they have heard all the options after only 2. Wait the extra couple of seconds and opt out. Let them know they can JAM IT. "VODAPHONE you've lost me". Annoying Pricks. I'm a Shift Worker as well and the annoying little turds don't even consider that other people have lives outside their customer base. Should be illegal, blow them all up I say, ARRGGGGHH

Its a vodaphone call about a new plan

I was under the impression that the making of unsolicited calls of this nature was a criminal offence under the Spam Act. I don't know what the penalty is, but I'd happily support the re-introduction of capital punishment for these and similar annoying [***]. I have lost count of just how many of these sort of calls I have received on my mobile in recent months. DEATH TO BRAIN-DEAD SPAMMERS.
