Has been repeatedly calling me and if I pick up, I get silence and then it hangs up after 10 seconds. Annoys me greatly.

So annoying phone rang with this number, and I am at work, answerew quickly and they hung up, won't be answering if they call again!

No voice message left......!!!

They rang me earlier tonite and didn't leave a message.... Am glad that you guys have posted this on here so I can save the number and know it's them when they call again!
Are you positive it's Optus Sales?

I got a call from this number. When I picked up, he/she didn't say anything and just hang up. Are you sure it's Optus? because I'm on Optus already...

I received this call also, it called me around 9:00 am. I'm really angry with it  coz I was still in dream

I have been getting calls from this number everyday. I know to ignore it now. Really annoying though.

They've been calling me almost everyday.
I really don't know if they're from Optus, so i decided not to answer it from now on.
The first time i answered it, she said she was calling from Optus overseas.

I've also been getting calls on my mobile since 26/05/11 daily and I'm with Optus too.
I pick up and there is silence for about 10 seconds, then just as I was about to hang up I heard a "hello" in a distinct accent.

I called them back using my work phone and the voice recording says that they are OCIS Oceania's Premiere Outsource Contact Service for Optus!

I've sent an email enquiry Optus to ask them to block this number from calling me :P  Will be interesting to see their response!

got this call today many times, I just dont answer.

I keep getting them as well .... i just answer ... count to three than hang up ....

i have had numerous calls from this number, after business hours... i am on optus and have not yet decided to pick up.
no voice mail has been left!

Just got the call then. Never quite connected despite me answering.

I'm pretty sure it's cos my contract is up this week

This number is a contractor working on behalf of Optus sales.

After my experience of picking up a call on this number after being worried who it was and them not leaving a voicemail for over a week, I would very much advise people not to pick up. The person I spoke to was very defensive and, I thought, rude (odd for someone trying to persuade me of the virtues of a service) and went on to tell me I was being rude. His name was Alexander, in case anyone else gets him on the line.

I am a long-term Optus customer who has just renewed my contract. Am seriously beginning to wish I hadn't.

If Optus Marketing/PR read this, please do something about who you outsource this service to - they are really not good for retaining/encouraging your customers. You would be well-advised to save your money.

Have had 5 missed calls from this number in the last week.  My optus contract expires today, so interesting to know it's an optus call...

I keep recieving calls on my Savvytel mobile from this number. It's worrying that there could be some sort of hacking thing going on. As soon an I say hello, they hang up. Could they be gathering evidence of how many calls they are making so they can pretend to Optus that they have been doing their job?
