Daily phone calls, but hangs up when answered.

I called them back about two hours after missing their call, but was informed that the number I was calling was not connected. They had actually rung me twice before that last call.

Who are these people?

This number belongs to Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific, and the telephone calls are from our Outbound marketing team, aimed at inviting you to attend a presentation about our holiday ownership product. Qualified guests might be offered various rewards, depending on the promotion we’re running at the time. The rewards are genuine, contingent upon meeting a couple of easy requirements, and attending a sales presentation of approximately 90 minutes. This number keeps ringing and when you pick it up they hang up. I answered the phone once and said if you dont stop calling I ring the police.... they still call. Ive tried blocking the number but it still gets through. I was relieved to see I am not the only one. I emailed them according to someones notes below and will wait and see. How frustrating. I've got a feeling the telemarketers need to ring a certain number of calls everyday so they ring numbers they know and just hand up when they it answers so its logged in their call report.

Asian caller said call blocking is about to be activated on my phone.

How did you get my number in the first place? Why should I have to call your guys to have my number removed, if you shouldn't have had it in the first place? Ridiculous.

They ring early in the morning and I am on the do not call register . They hang up when you pick up !
