I am fed up of this number calling our house and being rude. It is nothing short of pestering. How can I get them to stop????

This company is a scam - they pretend to be calling from microsoft and advise that they can see viruses regsitered on your pc.They will then try to get you to either pay them a fee or allow them access to your home network.

Report them to your state government complaints register

We had the same experience wed. 7/9/11 and again tonight, at around 8p.m. They had us convinced that there was something terribly wrong with our computer [virus infection] 'They' assumed to be helping us "fix" it and offered a protection warranty for an amount of money. When we refused to divulge bank details, he [Alex]  became agitated and threatened to sue us and to wreck our computer. My husband said that 'if he was legitimate, he wouldn't be talking to him like that'. He then called my husband an 'a...hole'  and hung up.

They called here tonight 8.30pm. She rattled off the speal, "your computer has a virus" i asked for her ph no, told her she had called at a bad time and that i would return the call latr. Luckily I'd heard about this scam. But was surprised when i entered the number into search and found this page. Now left wondering why this can continue, and why the real Microsoft co. is not getting involved???? Surely this is fraudulent???

I had them call me tonight I also thought it was fake I have given the number to my service provider and told them to sort it out
