A man who calls himself Paul calls from this number and tells that he is a staff in Optus.
He asks to buy samsung galaxy tablet 2 10.1 under cotract for 24 months and asks for bank card number and other personal details to complete the application for contract.

We've got calls from this number very often.  When we pick up the phone, there is nobody on line.

Yep, this number has called my mobile a few times lately.  There's definitely someone on the end of the phone, but they hang up as soon as I say hello.

Yep got a call from this number today - I answered 'Hello' and could tell there was someone on the other end but they soon cut the call.

ive been getting it alot answered and no one there so i called it back and all i got was music playing :/

I saw a missed call from this number also. When i called back, same only music playing.

This number has been calling ever day for over a week, so annoying, it's a scam.. asking for details for ipad, samsung galaxy etc. Not sure how to block it?

Same here, no one on the line when I answered the call.

Called back and was instantly put on hold.

Probably a scammer with a badly configured auto dialler...

Just had a call from this number and what do you know? He hung up on me when I answered!!!

got a call this afternoon .. not sure who it is when called back it goes into some music

I had a missed call from this number as well as 03-8199-8010.  Searched both theses numbers and they appear to be the same 'company' (claim to be Optus selling mobile phone plans etc).

Had calls from both numbers many times. Now on my blocked list

Yes I have been getting phone calls from this number also.... they hang up when I answer.

I've had multiple calls from this and a few other numbers and have come to the conclusion they are scammers pretending to be Optus. I blocked one number but then get calls from others. It never ends :( Called Optus to let them know and got put on hold for 10 min...

I've received several calls from this number. I don't answer when i don't know the number due to several other unwelcome scam calls - my motto is: "if it's important they'll leave a message" - but they never do. Glad I googled it. Very strange.
