This seems to be a (female) beggar pretending to ring and asking for a person's name and then asking for cash for a taxi as they need to find this other person they've supposedly lost the number for.  I guess they just keep targeting and ringing the local area until some poor bugger lends them $50 never to be seen again.  I've had two calls in two weeks and have now blocked the number.

I have had a call with call number display from this mobile 0417 055 075 (0417055075) whereby the caller asks for a donation. When I dug a little deeper with questions as to the charity and means of collection it became clear it was a scam. They hung up when caught out.

I am interesting to see how these others have same problems with this person is caling me for money but I do not have to give as I am new here and have no job yet as I am trying to. Why they are telephone to ask for this and keep doing it I saying no always?
