Keep receiving calls and they don't and they hang up

Received call from this number 2 hours ago. Rang twice and hung up. Have been getting calls from 3 other mobile numbers in the past week all doing same thing. 2 of them are I believe from a shonky mob to do with racehorse syndicates.

7 calls in 5 hours today. most stopped by the second ring before i could answer.
when i did get to answer, it hung up.
blocked a similar number last week which was doing the same thing and as mentioned above was linked to gambling syndicates. Block the number and save the annoyance. they are no-one important

This phone no has started to contact my mobile phone today, try and answer and there is no one at the other end. I was getting same from 0411195352 and 0478730278 which has the same result. This started at the beginning of the year, I have blocked the first two numbers, now this one is trying to bother me to death. Will call Communication Ombudsman is they persist.

I just received two calls from this number about 9am Perth time.  Ignored it and it stopped ringing after about 30 seconds.  Answering it may prove to them it is a valid number so maybe just ignore it.

2 calls today hang up when you answer, block the number

A lady who identified herself as 'Simone' called me from this number. The company is 'Lay Trade' or similar. When I declined her offer, she was quite rude then hung up on me. That was a great result for both of us and hopefully they now remove my name & number from their list of potential gullible suckers.

Calls at least twice per day, stops after 3 rings, no answer if I do pick up

Had 2 calls today. When answered ther is no reply!

Keep getting calls and never leave messages

As indicated by James.  Asked how they got my number and was told that the "floor supervisor" would text me back with the details of the firms supplying the database.....yeah, right.  Also told that I would be removed from their database....we shall see.
