I got a text from this number saying that my mobile phone has won me $2.5M and to claim it by either calling this guy Jim on +27737208801 or to claim at this website mpro@dr.com, but they dont exist?

I got a call from this number to saying the same

Today I received the same text...

Spammer responding to my advertisement of a caravan for sale. Pointed me to an email address: kelvinlace2013@hotmail.com

Contacted me about a car im selling  wanted me to email taynoliver345@gmail.com

Contacted me about a boat I am selling. Wanted my bank account details or pay pal details.  Said he would deposit the money in my bank.  He sms me on his phone number and then wanted me to email him at daved1516@gmail.com.  I emailed him and he signed himself as David Edmonds.

Scammer using the name Daniel responding to my gumtree car ad. Using the email patcox556@gmail.com

Jess Bianca,txt about a bus we have for sale on Gumtree. Says she cant call because of the weather at the minesite she's on yet she can Email ! Asking for bank details etc as she has no way of accessing hers? ?.. Cant view the bus but would make payment ASAP & get a frieght company to pick it up ! 40ft bus mind you ! ! Some tossers out there ! !

received 3 messages from the same number, 2 stating the name Patrick and one David. 2 different email addresses and one has the same email address but one is with the name David, the other with the name Patrick.

got a message to contact Jim to claim the winning prize of one and a half million due to the winning mobile phone 0403674693

luv the scammers they think people are stupid, I usually ignore them cause they are normally O/S numbers but when I saw the Aussie number I thought I would google it and found all u lovely people are also too smart for these d/heads. I can only hope they are losing money from spamming people. Oh BTW this was a Gumtree response as well for motorbike. Cheers all

Got a text from this number enquiring about my car which i am selling on Gumtree..however i was not allowed to text the number had to email to billowen@hotmail.com.au
then said he would transfer $10,000 into my paypal account.
Didn't want to look at the car and claimed a personal agent would collect the car due to him sealing (sailing) in Bermuda...he couldn't spell sailing and claimed he was in Bermuda,

same idiot just did same thing,re my car on gumtree ... I gave him/her the bum's rush and told him Aust ded Police and US authorities were advised all the details ... silence since then

avoid this billowen@hotmail,com,au as it is clearly an Asian scammer judging by the pathetic English.

Received SMS regarding sale of vehicle on CarsGuide with request to contact buyer on email address crisell.sandra102@gmail.com. Received the reply working offshore with AWE New Zealand on Kapo project. The offer to purchase for her son in NT to be delivered via courier & payment via PayPal seemed a bit far fetched.
