I got a call on my mobile this morning at around 10.35am from the number 044123456789.

I didn't answer it as it looked far to strange a number to be anything other than a scam/sales call or possibly from abroad.

Does anyone know what/who this number is?

Got a call this morning at 10 19am some asian guy trying to get my card details something to do with bank charges, he was going to re enburse the money. As i refused to give details he hung up on me. I suspect it is a scam

Indian/Pakistani gentleman. Blatant scam. Tried to tell me my computer had downloaded an infraction from his website, just hung up on him.

My wife who is disabled, was very upset after receiving a call at 19.38. The asian voice asked for our post code and address. I was in the garden so she couldn't get to me.
At 76 years of age theese things get more scary each day.

Got a call from "Tania" - Asian voice witha poor grasp of English - supposedly representing "The UK Research Centre" wanting to ask a few questions that will not take up too much time.   Terminated the call there and then.

Bloody big scam, They told me they were calling from microsoft and that my computer had a virus they gave me the code to key into my computer which they claim would clear it.
I let him go through his routine leading him to believe I was actually doing what he asked He must have thought I had fallen off the next boat. Just Ignore Them !

I've had three calls tonight on our house phone, plus one most nights during the last week. There's also been a couple of silent ones when my husband has answered the phone. Always Asian sounding men, called Robin, Mike or some other English names I cant remember.   Yesterday they said they were calling about a home insulation service.  Twice tonight they've said they are from a UK research centre.  I've told them loads of times we're not interested and told them to take us of their list.  Finally tonight I've resorted to shouting at them in the last two calls.  After the last call tonight I dialled 1471 to find out where the calls are coming from and the number was 044123456789.  Don't know where they are getting our number from as we've been registered with the telephone preference service for a long time.

Both myself and friend received a call from this number (I was out) last week

These so -called callers (led to believe from scamming Microsoft, bank, address or reserach - WHICH EVER!!) called today did not leave a message as my TRUE CALL machine stopped them dead in their tracks.

REMEMBER - Microsoft NEVER repeat NEVER call you - on registration YOU do not supply any telephone numbers! As an electrical engineering NEVER do Microsoft call you NOR have your personal details other than computer ID and software registration

If by previous calls they are not a genuine company as they DO NOT supply a name that can be tracked PLUS having worked at the Home Office you can ask them - if you let them - for their company's registration number at companies house London - if genuine you can check - else tell them you are not interested and not to call back else you will be taking them to court for £50K for annoying you if they persist!

Telephone companies do nothing they are just happy to take the money for any calls, Telephone preference (TPS) are a waste of time as well as the Police who do nothing as well!

Okay not a cheap machine is the TRUE CALL but has reduced calls from three to seven a day to practically nothing - one every week now. It allows you to decide who to accept (see their web-site for demonstration) and then can be blocked - ONLY TRUE genuine calls get through.

As above you can pay to stop these calls but NOTHING much gets done until this unit was brought into action.

These complete UTTER MORANS can carry on BUT will never get through.

All seems to happen after moving from TalkTalk as their service is extremely POOR - thus they do not follow any data protection as operated in either UK or EEC area.

If by previous message these originate from abroad (mainly Asia) and seems to be passing telphone number on BUT with TRUE CALL they will find its a wait of theoir time.

Utter SCUM smelling of "PIG" called twice today - YOU UTTER PILLOCKS - the TRUE CALL will keep blocking you forever and your number is not that imaginate as 0044123456789 - you simpletons cannot even get a number which is not easy to trace.

This is now in the hands of the POLICE and will be intercepting these call for me - thanks MORANS!!

Keep wasting your time as well as your brains - especially blow then our for all our sakes!!

Had a call from this number 4 times today have called Sky about it and told that, they get our numbers via a "random number generator" nothing we can do about it, so now when the phone rings and the number comes up I put on my best swearing voice and let them have it.
Would love to know what the real number is.

Assume the number left is not a TRUE number 044123456789 - very much a SCAM.

Thus believe the number is not tracable to any REAL OFFICIAL COMPAMY.

Third time today these lot must be VERY desperate - The TRUE CALL will always block them...

They might eventually give up BUT assume they are more ASS OF themselves.

Waste theri time as ONLY genuine call ever get through... Thanks TRUE CALL for blocking these MORANS!

Another call from an unintelligible indian wasting my time. This time the number was available.
Surely someone can stop these constant nuisance calls.
