I got the same exact sms in response to a car sales ad.  She is claiming to be away on business and wants to purchase my car with payment via paypal...sounds like it might be a scam.

I had the exact same message just now. It's depressing that you can't sell a car without someone trying to rip you off but at least people take the time to warn others. Thanks Fiona (and everyone else that's posted here)!

If you Google "carsales scam paypal" you can see some examples of what "Daisy" is up to...

Exactly the same number sms and message I received in relation to a car on sale at carsales.com.au.

Secondly. Another sms and email from a dylansuu@gmail.com want to pay via PayPal and asked for me to send money to a pick up company via western union.
SCAMS! be careful.

Got this yesterday from +61 447 787 889:

11th Nov I got a text msg from this caller saying" Interested in viewing your car on car sales, tell me when I can come to inspect. Email daisyATsydneyarena.com replace AT with @.

I too got this
It's fake

Car sales scam. This is a scam. Do not engage with this kind of transactions. Better negotiate in person. Check this link. http://www.police.wa.gov.au/Crimetypes/Fraud/ ... 68/Default.aspx

I was just about to pay when i had this problem with the pick up, my pick up agent says i will need to pay for the pick up before they can schedule a pick up time, they charged me $1500 for pick up and delivery and payments for pick up made through them is made to their corporate international headquarters in the China and the payments is made through western union money transfer, i will add the $1500 to the money i will send as soon as i have made the payments,i will need you to help me send the money to my pick up agent HQ in the China through western union money transfer, this can be done from any post office, there is always western union money transfer section in most post offices,i would have done it myself but as i am at sea and didnt bring my credit card aboard,.I will appreciate your help here and thanks for your understanding

*This person signs up free SMS credits to go around spamming sellers with such message. Don't fall for his scam!
