This woman is an experience con artist ripping people off through trading sites.  I got ripped through Gumtree and lost $360.  This scammer is the worst of the worst - very good at what she does - has no regard for the law or the the many victims she is deceiving. Paid for tickets never materialise.  She also has been using two phone numbers and two identities to scam people.  The other identity is a tool by the name of T R Draper. The number used in this instance is 0455317928.

They are individuals that need to be caught and made accountable.

I was scammed by T R DRAPER aswell such a scum ripped me off $300 for tickets i was suppose to get for my friends because i already had one! Did you go to the police?

And also to all the many other victims of Amy Connar.

Would like you all to know that i can positively confirm that several months ago , the scammer going by the name of Amy Connar , who was ripping off and lives apart through sites such as Gumtree & Ebay by pretending to have highly sort after tickets to major events, shows, musicals, sporting events & other sought after items was  arrested & charged by Victorian Police a couple of months ago. I was one of her victims & my experience with this despicable excuse for a human being profoundly affected my life on so many levels. Many victims of this woman will tell you that the pain runs much deeper than just financial .

I was pleased to liaise closely with Victorian Police over the past few months & was very happy & relieved to see her arrested, charged with 8 counts of obtaining property by deception , which is the legal term for fraud .  She was bailed to appear in the Melb Magistrates Court on 3 November.  

On the day , the matter was adjourned to the 30th January 2015, & moved to the Heidelberg Court location in Melb . Not sure why the change in court location but I am told by police, this is quite normal .

It is a long time to wait , meaning justice may be painfully slow , but to all her victims, SHE HAS BEEN CAUGHT!!  & god willing, will, at the end of the day, be made accountable & will hopefully go to jail.

By the way , her real name is CATHERINE EMERY.  The name of Amy Connar was just one of many alias's she used to avoid detection .  Lets all hope she gets what she deserves.

Message to all victims of this atrocious "piece of work" who had many aliases, primarily , but not limited to, the name of Amy Connar.

Her sorry [***] is in court tomorrow, 30 January 2015 at Heidelberg Magistrates Court in Melbourne .  She is actually listed 5 times , meaning many more victims have come forward & she is facing multiple charges .

With my matter , the listing shows she has/will be making a formal plea of GUILTY.  
That's a big relief .

My understanding is that now, given that plea, she will be then sent for Sentence.
Yay !  Perhaps she's not laughing so
much  now .  I noticed from the listing on the other matters , some of these other she has also pleaded guilty to.

She's been doing this for a long time. As people have said , very good at what she does. So many lives destroyed.

God I hope she goes to jail .
