I been getting text message from this weird number but I can't stop it and all t-mobile can do is tell me that they can't do anything but change me number...does anyone know how to stop it?

samething with tmobile here they seem clueless.....

i get the same with my sidekick.  its something to do with email alerts in my opinion

I called T-Moble and they told me that this was coming from a advertising company called "clairemail" I Googled the name but .nothing came up.  I noticed that I only get this on my sidekick and not my samsung. I hope this helps.

I to have recieved the text multiple times through out the day on my blackberry.  I take it there is nothing we can do at this point but change the number?

I have called same thing as Tracy only on my Sidekick when I switch phones it doesn't happen.... I have called Sidekick but they act like dumb idiots who don't know what they are doing.

the number has to do with getting email alerts on your phone.  If you previously had email on your old phone and switch the sim card to a new phone this happens.  I've heard this situation happening alot with the samsung blast switching to a newer phone. You might possbily have to delete the email account and start new.

I constantly receive text messages from this number and it is driving me crazy. I have called T-Mobile and they can't seem to help me.

what the heck this is nuts every minute getting messages from that wierd number n no help .. annoyin.. whatcan i do

What Jay said earlier is correct. It has something to do with email. If you received email on a phone, could be any kind of phone, nokia 6362, samsung gravity, anything. The phone is checking for new messages. You have to delete all of the emails on the phone and start fresh.

i keep getting them and there is nothing they can do but it doesnt have to do with your emails cause i didnt have any emails on my nokia 5310 and i havent got to set them up on my new phone and i only got my phone on saturday and they started as soon as i turned it on so i dunno i want it gone it is driving me crazy makes me wish i never upgraded

I have never got email on my phone. Just recently got a trackfone LG600 and called about not being able to use browse service or send pics. After that, constant text messages same as you all.

I just spoke with T-Mobile and like another person suggested that even though it was coming over like a text message we should delete our email application and then reload it. I just switch my phone from a new Samsung Behold back to my BlackBerry Purl and I think that this is what caused the issue.

I too have this problem.  I switched from a blackberry curve to a samsung behold to (finally)a palm centro.  I had used an old Palm treo in between phones.  Somewhere in there I started receiving these texts all the time! Palm won't let me delete the e-mail app, but I have deleted my yahoo email account on the phone (I had to create a gmail account since VersaMail requires at least one email account).  I cancelled all email alerts.  I'm STILL getting the messages!  Will keep trying.  I really don't want to change numbers!
