It is a call from GFK survey. Have no idea where did they get my number.

random number dial, i got a call from a survey, saying to ring 050039 6999 if i want to know about the survey and its legal stuff, guy who was asking for survey on phone said they get numbers through a random number chooser from all phone numbers

"Random Digit Dialling (RDD) – For telephone surveys we may use a system where telephone numbers are generated at random by a computer programme.  This is to ensure that we call a representative sample of people.  In this way we may have contacted you by phone even if you are ex-directory.  Please note that genuine market research is exempt from the Telephone Preference Service (TPS), so we may have contacted you by phone even if you have registered to opt out of sales and marketing telephone calls."
