Callers say they are from a company called "Legally Entitled".  Claim to have got my number from a "public database".  Haven't been able to find any information online about a company by that name.

They say they are ringing to notify me about a Government scheme to help with unsecured debts.

Tried telling them I don't have any debts but they keep ringing.

They also ask to speak to somebody called Georgina Victoria and nobody by that name has lived here since I bought the house in 1983.

We've had similar calls from LegallyEntitled.com for about a month now. Indian sounding guy called 'Dave' - mostly polite, very persistent - very thick-skinned! The company is obviously bogus as there is no website at legallyentitled.com.

Interestingly the web domain legallyentitled.com, although not active has been registered to Sir Adrian Vincent Roberts (http://www.who.is/whois/legallyentitled.com/) who has registered several hundred other websites. Beyond this website domain registration I was unable to find further evidence that Roberts is connected to the outfit that keeps calling us!

We get lots of calls, both home and work. Indians again
We believe they are from " Richmond financial" something or other.

I have recently had a call at home the guy said richmond financial blah blah when I asked
To speak to supervisor they said they would take my number off the list, they would not give me address or contact number as they were not allowed to. Any further info on this company please email
    Shaunuk69@btinternet.com

Call from INTERNATIONAL no.  Indian sounding man said he was calling from South East Asia.and was asking for my wife in her maiden name. We have been married for 10 years but I looked in the BT phone book and found our No, in her old name. BT would not remove it so we have asked our telephone supplier to sort it. The Indian man said they got our No. from Comercial Data Base. He said he was phoning on behalf of LEGALLYENTITLED.COM and said I could look at the website for contact details. LIES.

They are http://www.debtadvisoryline.co.uk or "Debt Advisory Line Limited" Reg. No. 07067381.  The reason they say LegallyEntitled.com or LegallyEntitledto.com is so that you can't complain to TPS.  Play along and you will get transferred to Debt Advisory Line.  They make out they are from the Government and that you will get out of your debts.

If you use their services you probably won't be able to get credit for the rest of your life.

If you are signed up to TPS (http://www.tpsonline.org.uk/) make sure you complain.  If you are not, sign up as it is illegal to call you if you are.

Same experience. At least one call a day for the last month. Thanks for the tip, I have just reported the Debt Advisory Line to the TPS, but I don't expect anything to happen quickly. I think I had better just enjoying playing with these b@st@rds, stay calm, ask for names, contact numbers, then tell them you are on the TPS and they are breaking the law by contacting you. This isn't the first time you have reported a front of the DAL and you will now report them too.

I've had 3 calls today from these people on top of the rest I've had over the last few weeks. They won't take no for an answer. I've tried being polite but they don't give up. They always ring from a witheld number but say they are from legally entitled.

I asked to speak to a supervisor and he started off being very polite and apologetic and when I said to him that I am not interested and have explained that to others on his team he kept saying but madam we can help you, government directive blah blah blah. I asked him to stop calling and he shouted and me!

Don't know how to stop this! Got one phonecall in the early hours a couple of weeks back!

hello, i have read all your comments and am going through something similar. have any of you managed to get an address of the people they are actually trying to contact? they have been ringing us for 2 years now asking for timothy jenkins. he hasn't lived at our house for at least 30 years, as the previous owners weren't of that name. with a bit of work we got an address after a broadband company rang asking for timothy jenkins and gave us an address. we have registered with tps. any body got any ideas, short of going to this house, who probably are unaware of the situation.

I have had these calls as well and contacted Sir Adrian Roberts about the website. He does have a dormant domain name for Legallyentitled.com but it is not active. He did say that his brother at Lifeskills Holdings knows that I have been contacted by this telemarketing company.  How he knows that, I do not know, perhaps he has had other complaints. Roberts says that he has no connection with the advisory line.

Just had a call from legallyentitled.com .... Indian sounding guy with a very crackly line and I could barely make him out .... but having just had a call from Robinson Way and searched them to find complaints forums much like this one, I decided to search these guys too.

No idea what they wanted - but hung up.

Just got a call from Legally Entittled, told me that I might have been mis-sold a mortgage by a broker I had used in the past, don't know how he knew which broker I had used. Also said that they worked under the Ministry of Justice. Wanted £380 up front to get papers from the mortgage company and will send a pack to fill in. Sceptical ? just a tad.....jogg on

I just read your message about the company "Legally entitled".
After 41 minutes on the phone he suggests he will pop an application in the post - same as yourself although he wanted £385 for costs.
Have you heard from them since.
He said he would send me papers in the post ! Strange thing is : i never gave him my address

Hi, just had legally entitled on the phone with the same rubbish, told me I had been miss sold my mortgage by our broker in 2006. The broker has recently gone into administration and we could be owed thousands!!!
yeh right. He too said he will send through a package and there will be a cost of almost £400 to retrieve relevant information. If they were confident of winning any money they wouldn't ask for money and take it from the won claim. Be careful, I'll see if this package turns up and see what postal address these people give. You can bet your life it will be a P.O Box number!!! Don't fall for this scam
