Whoever this prat is keeps calling my house phone and then hanging up. Why won't they go away. I did attempt to do a ring back but the line went dead :S

I just received the same call and it's happened a number of times now, where they don't day anything and just hang up. Stupid idiots woke up the baby.

Had this call on Friday, didn't answer it, and again and answered it, phone went dead, usually we leave the answerfone to pick up.

I got call from this number, same pattern reported by others, call is silent then goes dead after a few seconds. I've had same call several times over the last week. My guess is this is an autodialler from a telesales office with not enough staff to handle the volume of calls they get picked up.

I have had calls from this number several times over the past couple of days. As my number is registered with the TPS I have forwarded it to them to investigate.

Seems to be some sort of Accident Claim Line.
They are power dialing numbers- I could tell because it takes a couple of seconds before it connects to an agent.

Had this call about 15 mins ago, there is a silence then the phone connects elsewhere, an Asian man said he was calling from a Marketing company.  When I told him I didn't have to time to speak he asked "why" !  I said goodbye and hung up.

had a call from this number about 5 mins ago - Asian man said "hello, how are you?" I paused and said very well, how are you? and he hung up.  Is there any way to find out who this is?

I just got a call from the same number they claimed to be from global communication, at that point I stopped them and told them I was registered with the TPS.  They then asked for my TPS pin number which I have never heard of I then asked them who supplied them with my number and they said BT.

Just had this 15 minutes ago, and same time yesterday........v annoying

I had a call from a man representing "global telephone" obviously not trying to sell me anything and ignoring me when I told him I was a member of TPS.

Just had a call from my mother in a terrible state.  She said she had a call from someone saying that there had been an accident in our family.  How do these people manage to get through the blocked nuisance calls? I am actually away at the moment and had to get someone round to console her as she was so upset.  These companies shouldnt be allowed to frighten elderly people like this.

Keep getting calls from this number as well. Generally screen calls, so I haven't picked up to speak to anybody, but they're very keen to get in touch whoever they are. I've signed up to stop spam calls, but apparently it's not working

like most of the people on here i am so annoyed at this caller. they rang yesterday, i said hello. got no reply. then they called again today. i asked who they were.they kept on about an accicent in the family in the last 3 years.i told them we were ex directory and they said..yes i know we have the numbers in front of us.. well if that's the case why can't we do something about the damn idiots,..

Had this number call me, there was a pause followed by a ringing tone which was swiftly answered by an asian man. He said he was from British Market Research and wanted to know if "anyone at this number has had any accidents in the last 3 years" to which i replied where did you get my number? They hung up and have not called since. I tried to call the 07012 212 212 number back to complain, but it just goes dead. I would urge anybody who receives this call to get as much information as they can out of the caller and post it up here so we can do something about it.

I had a call from asian man following the above threads about accidents in the last three years.  I told him this lis was on tPS an he was comitting a criminal offence in curt voice which caused him to ring off sharply.
