Something about an insurence company, have not got my bill in yet so I can't say its a scam but it sounds like one. Do not call back.

i called these swines back stupidly and it said something about a competition line and very quickly hung up. got charged 14p for the privalege.  damn conning swines.

Report to the provider.  This case it's TTNC - the guy in charge is not very pleasant - but report it anyway.

I had a missed call from this number... saw the phone ringing (for only a few seconds)... looked suspicious to me... definitely wouldn't have called back...

Just had one off these guys at while at work.  took one look at the number and thought I'm not calling them.  glad I didn't by the sound of it

Called me at 5 am,  I was sleeping! [***]. Checked online and trying to complain/report is more difficult and painful that killing yourself. I guess I will just have to put up with these scumbags. Thank you HM Government for looking after me so well.

Got caught with this one last night and billed for calling back. The number looks like a normal mobile number so I didn't realise it was a scam until I got the recorded message.  I'm on the Telephone Preferences list too.

Vodafone, who used to be helpful about this sort of thing, have now decided to be useless. Probably something to do with all the watchdogs being dismantled in the UK so consumers have no rights as they cannot be enforced any more.

I have just spoken to BT. This is a number from the personal number number range. It costs more to contact these numbers. BEAWARE: DO NOT CALL BACK. THEY MAKE MONEY OUT OF US!!!

Got a call from them at 16.26, but luckily I have a thing for not answering numbers I don't know... Was tempted to text asking who it was but decided to run it through the net first as I've never seen an 070 number before. Has anyone had any luck reporting it yet?

had a call at 3.40 in the morning from this number, a very unusual time to phone and almost makes you think it could be a family emergency or something.
lukily my phone was elsewhere and it didnt wake me up, i thought i would try the number in the internet and see what came up...i'm glad i did coz i might have phoned it back, but seeing the comments has put me in the know...thanks to all the people who comment on this to maake people aware of the scams.
even though our phone companys don't want to help at least on line we can help each other by typing the number and leaving a comment.
to the people who set up this number the devil awaits you!!!

Got at call by this number at 5.21am this morning! Luckyily i didn't hear it go off but as it seemed like a genuine mobile number i phoned it back when i woke up! To be answered by a "Hi there" no automated voice - i knew i didnt recognise the voice though so i hung up straight away! Cost me at least £1 for about 5 secs on the phone!

Looks like there is a minimum 1 minute charge (60p?) on Vodafone if you call 070 numbers. 070 numbers are regarded as premium so are still charged even if you have free contract minutes.

60p is not a lot, but it all mounts up if you can get lots of people to call back.

I called them back, couldnt hear anything but static, so i hung up and called them back again, so... not only do i get woken up at 5am, i also get charged twice for trying to call somebody back, now i dont normally call numbers back if i dont recognise it, but it was 5am on a Sunday morning, i figured it must have been urgent to call me at that time, could have been someone in trouble.

I had this number call me last night at 10.09pm  it rang for a nano second, and like already said, you get tempted to call it back, thankfully I checkd here first

call a call from this same number. I suspected it was a scam, so I typed the number on Google and I got to your site. Thanks for this. I will alert my friends and family to this nuisance call.

I had a missed call at from 1am from this number, luckily I put my phone on silent at night!! who are they?? Has anyone managed to complain or block the number?

I've had a missed called 17/8/09 and googled it as it looked suspicious.  I'm glad I did as I won't be phoning back.  I also had a dodgy missed call yesterday and found out that was someone in Gahna when I googled it!  I don't know where these people get my number from ...

I got a call from this number at 5.57 this am! I have recently been getting strange calls that I never answer now (from an African sounding lady) So not sure if there is any connection.
I have saved it in my phone contacts as 'SCAM CALL' just in case I pick up by mistake!
