Tried to sell a netbook on gumtree. User offered to send me £80 for shipping and £220 for laptop. You can get the laptop for £240 in John Lewis which I already advertised.

got an email from the Johnny Bright (johnnybright18@yahoo.com) and then another from johnnybright16@gmail.com.. asking about my macbook, the number given to me was 07024083584, it smells a little fishy for using different names.

phone is from las vagas its all a scam we got done by jhonny too, dont answer num as will cost you money. any more info on him? he seems to be scaming alot of ppl.

Thanks for the mail, i am buying it as a gift for my Dad. I am a Marine Engineer and i am at
sea at the moment and i want to make it as a surprise for my Dad. So i wont let him know
anything about it until it gets delivered to him. I am sure he will be more happy seeing it.
I insisted on paypal because i don't have access to my Bank Account online as i don't have
Internet Banking, but i can pay from my Paypal Account, as i have my Bank Account
attached to it. I will need you to send me your Paypal email address or money request
from paypal so i can remit the payment into your Paypal Account and pls if you don't
have Paypal Account yet, it is very easy to set up go to www.paypal.co.uk and get it set up after you have set it up, i will only need the e-mail address and name you used for registration with Paypal, so as to remit payment. I have a pick up agent that will come and pick it up and i will also add the Agent fees which is £600.00 GBP when making the payments. So once the payment is made you will send the agent the money for the pick up from you house and you will let me know when you will be at home for the pick up, so will have to send the money to paypal after payment so that paypal can forward the money to the shipping agent.Thanks and do get back to me with your paypal email address for payment.

Thanks, i'm glad for the reply. I promise to buy my cousin gift for the New year but i'm busy throughout, u will be sending this item to my cousin in LONDON-(Se14 6tz)- and i will be paying for the postage to him, i calculate the shipping cost via Royal mail 1day delivery is not cost. All you need to do for the transfer is to send me your paypal email address,name and the total cost so that i can transfer funds into your paypal account, if you are not willing to use paypal just make sure you send me your bank details so that i can easily send the money into your account and the item will be post once i send the money.
