I got a call from this number which rang for one second and then rang off.  Earlier the same day, I had a similar 'missed call' from 07033369056.  feeling a bit suspicious I searched the web for more information and found the following posting at http://www.hlccl.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-55669.html

i work for a telecoms company, doing all their design work. they do all this s**t everyday man. you'd be amazed at the amount of cash they rake in doing it.

their most popular one is drop calling mobiles with an 07033 number. this costs 50p to connect, and will cut off at £2. it looks like a missed call from a mobile so you ring it back, but it rings once and connects, then plays a ringing recorded message for a bit, then an edited voicemail leave a message message, then cuts the line.

070 is not mobile. dont call it!
