I got  so many missed calls from this number.

someone left a message from this number and did not say where they are from. I called the number after hours and got a message bank that STILL did not tell me who I was calling.

Got a call from a woman from this number (not Australian accent) saying they were Bank of Queensland and wanted to know my D.O.B. and address.
When I asked what it was about the woman said she would not tell me until I had verified my ID. I replied that she rang me, not V.V and she again insisted I identify myself. When I continued to ask why she needed ID and why had she phoned me anyway, she got even more abusive if possible for a supposed bank. I refused and told her to phone my branch and I would deal with them whatever it was about and she goes right off  yelling that I will continue to receive many of these calls if I did not identify myself. I replied that I would phone my branch, hung up, phoned my  B.O.Q. branch and spoke to manager who had no idea what it was about. Manager asked if I continue to receive calls, to ask them to phone (also) her but I have received no further calls. Attempted Fraud?

got a message from this number and told to ask for Elliott and quote a number still none the wiser

Yes same thing as 'b' Nov 23. Call Elliott and quote a reference number.
They new my name and wanted all my other details, which I refused to hand over!

Received a text message to ring number and quote ref number. Rang back but they hung up. BOQ collection agency

Got the same number, called them back twice my caller ID withheld first time identified themselves as some collection house they wouldn't say who for. Would provide my number of details and they got the [***]! Asked for my number so they could identify me I said no and hung up. Rang back I'd enabled asked who they were eodnt tell me they asked for a contract number I said WTF you talking about they asked for my tele number I ssid you have it they said they couldn't trace me through that yx them to ZfZo

Three calls in a row.....so phoned back....I asked why calling me.....wanted my details. Told them they must have my details as they phoned me first. What do you want...give me your details....etc and on and on......to end it. I said you phoned me first if you cannot tell me why then I cannot talk to you ...end of call.....on reject call list

Your recent BOQ Finance direct debit failed.........contact 0730173570 quoting ref ............... etc etc. I have no relationship with Bank of Queensland.

I received multiple 'No Caller ID' calls and ignored them all. If you do not provide your number, then I do not answer. They called a fourth time and actually left a message with a phone number (07 3017 3570) and a quote number which were rattled off so quickly, I had to replay the message three times just to write down the phone number.
When I called, they asked for the quote number. I asked the man to identify himself and he said some strange name from CHL. He was very quick to tell me that I could verify their authenticity online.
I told him I was not interested and hung up.

THIS DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE LEGITIMATE IN ANY WAY. I AM A BOQ CUSTOMER, BUT HAVE A NUMBER OF ACCOUNTS AND A STRONG RELATIONSHIP WITH MY BANK MANAGER. THEY WOULD NEVER INSTIGATE A DEBT COLLECTION WITHOUT DISCUSSING WITH ME FIRST.

I SUGGEST THAT THIS IS A SCAM AND THEY ARE USING COLLECTION HOUSE (A LEGITIMATE COMPANY) SO THAT THEY CAN BE VERIFIED BY POTENTIAL MARKS.

I got the same call from this number - bloody nuisance !  Have blocked it as i noticed what others have said about it. Thanks!

Yes attempted fraud. Do not provide personal details or call phone number.

This is a scam caller.  Got a call from ‘Ben’ at Bank of Queensland asking me to provide my identification information. I questioned why he’s calling and he told me he could not tell me what the call is about until I identify myself. Told him I was NOT providing my personal details and that I would contact my bank.  He then sent a text message to say call John on 07 3017-3570 quoting a reference number.

This is a scam
