caller keeps calling

i had the same message with a slightly different ref number. looks dodgy to me. (i'm in Australia)

I just received the same message as mike..
what should I do? HELP

Same here. SMS asking me to call MARTIN on 0730173911 and quote ref#48518756564. I'm in Australia too.

the message is from a collection agency!!

mine says:

I need to talk to you today. Please call SHANEL on 0730173911 and quote ref#: 4851 etc...

I suspect it's dodgy so I am not going to be the sucker to call.

I got the same msg but no phone call..Im not gonna call them back...are they stupid or something?

Received a txt from +61 421 269 821 with the message:

This is a message for (MY NAME). Call back now quoting ref#: XXXX XXXX XXX

Pfft. Yeah right.

"Call back now on 0730173911" was the full message. Oops.

I get texts and calls from this same number asking for someone called Andrew Johnson and the other day I got a text from that same number (0730173911) and instead of them asking for Andrew Johnson the person was Andre Johnston.  Which company is it?

sometimes i get texts from doctors with no number all it said was MIA

these mass sms/txt are originating from an organisation called Collection House.

Yes, same here, I get sms saying to call back, quoting a reference number every couple of months .... I am ignoring them, though would love to know who the company is so I can do the same back!

If you have a debt with another company, they hire places like this to contact you, let you know what it is and work out how to clear it.
usually the only ones that avoid these are the ones that dont pay bills on purpose.  Call them, if its wrong, they can fix it, if you owe it, deal with it!

Debt Collection: Why the f*ck would I pay for a toll call to a collection agency when I don't owe anyone any money?  I pay my bills.  From what I've read these maggots are just fishing for someone else who's gone missing and have my number by mistake.  A*sehole.
