These guys had about four coldcalls before getting on to me. Returning the call simply registered the time I'd called.

Eventually an Indian voiced lady, Rachel, called to discuss my mobile and my current bill. I asked who they were and why they were calling and had the usual sport before ascertaining it was a front for an Optus crowd. Politely declined by suggesting we both were wasting our time.

Called my mobile and when I returned the call, listed the date and time I called.  How do we stop these calls and where do they get our mobile number from?

phoning me trying to pretend to be from optus i am with viptel there have been numourous indian lady phoning about better plan / deal on phone my phone company has noted these scams in its bills to its customers scammers were trying to find out which phone company i was with and also got angry when i tried to get off the phone so i hung up

an indian lady called me said i have a offer from a phone company because im using my phone/plan last few years. then asked me which phone company i was with. she tried to pretend that she has all my details and asked my private information as a confirmation. She was so annoying when i tried to find out does she has my detail and exactly from where she is calling. however I could find-out even she doesn't have my name and last she said she got this no from directory.
guys please be careful!

Already told my friends on Facebook do not pick up call from this number, very annoying!!! If still call me I will report this to police. This kind of behavior should be banned !!!

Yep same deal. "Can I please speak to the owner of the phone who pays the bills" Doesnt even know my name. What a weak effort. Didnt even hang on past that question.

This number 07 3071 9022 called me 8 times in 2 days. I have seen that it is a scam so i will not be giving up any details... suck it you stupid scams

same deal as all of you. missed the call, tried to call back and got the date and time (one hour earlier than the actual time here in nsw). they have tried calling again and ive ignored the phone. ive told companies before to take me off their call lists and the same companies still call me back. i thought there was a law against this but when they lie about where they are from you cant identify them to have them punished. what a load!

I have received call after call - many of them hang ups.  Each time I request that they remove my number, but I still get calls.

they keep ringing, 10 times in the last 6 months, sometimes someone answers, sometimes its just silence before they hang up. i keep telling them to delete my number from their system, i still get calls, today, i FINALLY got to speak to paul robertson or robinson, the "manager" He promised  to delete my number from their system only after i told him that what the company was doing was highly illegal and that i would form harassment charges. fingers crossed
