and a good one at that

this isnt a scam i have recieved my prize why do you think its a scam

You must work for them John as you seem to be the only one to have been paid by the way they are also working out of Sydney I hope they all get Cancer they are scaming scumbags.They keep telling me they will pay and call me back in ten minutes they never do They say they will pay within 3 days That ran out 6 days ago So john or whatever your real name is how did you get your prize Your knees sore mate!

i never gotta call from this number 0731032166 but they did tell me to call them back on that number..a lady named amar did the survey and called me from the promotional party to tell me i had won a prize in the raffle and said she would call me the next da to tell me what prize i had won,and suprisingly enuf it was 2nd prize!so she said because i didnt attend the party i have 3 days to claim prize by faxing or emailing claim form.then amar had called me again saying they had received and been approved and informed me that her supervisor sinta will call me in regards to the cash cheque and what to do and how it will be processed.she called and explained to me what to do so gave al details (wel aware of what i could be getting myself into)but proceeded as i have just moved over hea from overseas and have zilch n my account and no income at the moment.so that was done and sinta said i will get a call from the Hang Seng bank to confirm my details and then a lady named nicole called and all details were correct then she asked for the Funds Resource Certificate,i told her i dont have one as i wasnt informed nor given one so i call sinta(supervisor)to ask about this so she calls the bank and asks what its about.then she calls me back and explains that in order for me to get my prize transfered to my account i need to either physically go to hong kong and cash cheque or pay $27,000 HKD which is $3,600 AUD to the taxation department whch is 6% for the certificate...hhmmmm after hearing all that i was like wtf nah this has got to b a scam or isnt it? so i tell sinta that i will call her back with my decision and then i ask for website addy aswell as physical address in brisbane city so im curious to check it owt if its for reals or just coincidence!!

Yup....called me this week..new names... Soleen did the survey and the call during the ''party'' when my winning number came on their screen...supervisor Yuri..to tell me  how to get my "'cash cheque"' of $400,000.00HKD..they are now Lifestyle International Market Development....havent got the mp4 player yet lol...apparantley they are now opening a new shopping centre in Brisbane under the SOGO umbrella....they put a lot of work and effort into this scam...just hope that innocent people dont get into this...have reported them to ACCC...they are very aware of these guys....and think that they are an international money laundering outfit.....utter scumbags they are...cos you just know that there is gonna be some people getting caught up in all their lies.

and  ....... to add further to this DIRTY SCAM.... the guy at ACCC  said to steer very clear of this,  cos if  you inadvertently do get caught up in this money laundering scam....you are breaking the law and can be implicated...just sucks!

Well guess what folks, Allie on (07) 31033566 phoned me just an hour ago and inform me that amazingly I had won the second prize  of $400,000 and wasn't I just amazingly lucky???? Their parent company in Hong Kong wanted to send me a claim form that I had to fill out. I furnished an old unused email addy. Unfortunately my pc couldn't open the docx...awwwwww. (Danged Vista!)
I thought I'd copy and paste my email reply to them here so you can have a wee chuckle.

Gee whizz....am unable to open this docx and therefore claim my amazing prize.
I have forwarded it to my friend  at  http://www.scamwatch.gov.au in the hopes that he can sort it all out for me.
When do I get my free MP4 player?

To all...This is a massive scam!

My mother had received the same phone call saying she also won second prize yesterday. Before she was about to fax the winner prize document off today she called me to talk about this. Luckily I stopped her from giving any further information to this disgusting company.

So far she has only given out her licence number. Just wondering if she should change her number or just leave it? I have reported the emails to spam..but from the above messages I think this company has already been reported.

I hope this all gets sorted out and the company gets caught! I can't believe the nerve of some people!

aoa hi ev1... i got the same story a call for a survey with 3 very easy questions...and mp4 sony as gift and another call to go canberra at the company function and confirm add for mp4 player to b sent which i already did and should have arrived anyway and coz canberra is away from my address a call to be in a raffle which i win next day as 2nd prize and u have to give them ur email then they want u to hand fill and sign ur signature and scan it back to them.....i will recieve her call by this avo and apparently the company is in hong kong based kinda thing so i have untill 5 pm etc ....her name change from sam to something else too....apparently people just believe it and go ahead and even give money....man wait for the damned mp4 player first lololol...which no one gets lol....im disgusted at hoe theyve tried to b clever and get information off innocent aussies here.....and their calls are a waste of time......everyone pls watch out she has a phillipines accent but the caller may vary....thkx for ur time...

Hey guys, different ph number 02 61003887 same scam, I got a call from jamie to do a survey only 3 questions, I thought may as well, they tell me I will get an mp4 sortly in the mail then the next day another call from them to comfirm my address and an invite to their grand opening in Canberra, Iam in Melb so I didnt go, last night they ring to say I have won a prize in their raffle, this morning I get another call from them to say I won second prize of 400000 HKD, they then emailed me a winners claim form to fill out which i did. while waiting to get confirmation I decided to do a search of this company and thank GOD I found this forum, after reading everyones comments I was so pleased as everything I was being told was exactly the same as most had written then this afternoon comes the phone call from the supervisor saying the cheque will come from the hang seng bank and they need my banking details, I said to the women you dont need my banking details to receive a bank cheque then I told her that I had been reading this forum and that this is just a total scam, so then she said to me so you dont want to accept this prize I said NO. thankyou to all who have commented in this forum as it saved me from being scamed.

Well I never heard from them again after e-mailing them and telling them I'd sent their details to scamwatch.com Nor did I ever receive my free MP4. Nobody ever will of course because it's a total scam from start to finish. Warn everyone you know about them. Peter....it IS too good to be true and I'm sorry to say you will not get your money back.Do NOT send them any more. Any e-mail that arrives  saying you have won anything in some draw/raffle you never entered is a fraudulent scam. Any person who rings and tells you you have won  a huge amount of money- which you have to pay money to get is a fraud and scamster. Never ever give your account details out. I cannot believe how guillable some people can be. Some stranger says they've won something and they throw caution to the winds!

Yes got the same call..this time from Meridith 07 31024637. Supervisor Veronica. Representative staff from Hang Seng bank name Lassy.. also has the same accent as the rest of the indian cheap monkeys. Thank goodness I haven't gave them my real account number. Told me to pay AUD2,922 for their accountant to prepare the Fund Source Certificate. I asked for their office address. She even gave me an address: 66/100 River Centre, Eagle St, Brisbane 4101. They are playing fool on us.. then I'm playing fool on them. I never trust people...  just follow their flow and pretending like I have no such money to pay them required amount.. muahahaha....  John if u are one of the monkeys.. I got you!!!

Yes I got the same call. This one was from a lass called Jamie. Then the "supervisor" got on the phone, a lady by the name of Marika.  Phone number 02 61001340.  Facsimile for "Company headquarters" 0011 85 230079154. asked for bank BSB and account number. Just been up and emptied the account. (Didn't take long, nothing much in it) I will wait for the call on Monday with bemused anticipation.  Thank you for the warning guys and gals.  Let's together keep up the good work and put these parasites out of business.

Correct Muslim.. that wasn't phillipines accent.. they were indians/sri lankans. Staff from Hang Seng bank who made the call was also part of the monkeys. She spoke the same accent as the rest of the group.
