How i wish this jerry can be traced and be caught because he is playing with peoples emotions, who knows he might be even hacking our phones, where does he get all these cell numbers from? And he sounds Nigerian (accent)

Reply to Desmond. I have received exactly the same sms, with same nrs etc. but it said my cell nr won in a Rica promotion. I am sick and tired of this nonsense and wish that this person could be tracked down. Isnt that why all our phones has to be Rica'd now? Yes and I feel also that this person will get what he deserves!!!!@!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got that message now.but from a different number

just got the same message as Pascale. Would it help if we all reporr this to the police - financial Crimes? This is an obvious scam.

I received the same sms a few minutes back

I got the same sms this morning. Your cellphone no has won R250.000 in all network RICA promo. Call claim dept on 0725101710. I phoned from my Telkom line and gentleman with sort of greek/Itallian accent hang up on me when I sugessted that it was a hoax.

I also got the same sms about an hour ago.

Mine was also a Rica Promotion, but I had won R500 000.00 - This was not Jerry, but Alex Smith and I had to call 079 706 4509.  The other number that contacted me was from +27797361754 (the Processing Department in Bloemfontein).  Please be careful and do not answer to these sms's.  Thats the only way that we can run these Con Artists and Scammers out of business!!!

Just won R250 000 AND a laptop in this RICA draw, must call a Miss Lindie. Funny thing, this message is not registered in my Inbox!
