Report a phone call from 07501222295 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- CarolRang my mobile and identified himself as "Bank Charge Recovery Service." I told him to take me off his list. He said, "I don't think you understand who we are, darlin; I could take you off our list and I could take your money with me." Repeated my request that he take me off his list (and that he not call me "darlin") ... he said "Okay, ByeBye" and hung up. Rang again a couple of minutes later; I could hear voices in the background. No response when I said "hello?" and he hung up.

Dodgy. - miss x(copied from another thread, hope you dont mind not all is relevent, but please read on. In response for some of the staff's attitude's the credibility of a company has nothing to do with isolated rudeness, try calling Vodafones customer service's...now there some RUDE people)
Right...
I know someone who used to work for this very company. And no, sorry to let you all down this is'nt a scam. I find it quite amusing how hysterical people can get. Ill do my best to make a few point's here and tie up some loose ends. With regards to earlier comments concerning bank charges. Please use the power of logic to answer this daft question, put by someone earlier on in the forum. I'll clear my throat cause this is stupid....when you really think about it....why on earth would your own bank get in touch with you and say, "hey mister customer (who i've made 7k out of in bank charges over the past 6 years.)have your money back!...if they did that to everyone of there customers they'd be bankrupt in a day....Just think of that for a sec......it's like asking a mugger for your purse back. NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN banks make billions of pounds each year from us in BC's THEY are the scammers.
regarding the text messaging marketing, yes i know that it can be annoying but you would'nt phone up Tesco and tell them to get there annoying adverts of the T.V? advertising is advertising....sorry, just is.....
Now, regarding the second message. Its to do with the Consumer Credit Act, and the fact that millions of credit agreements made before (this is fact, check it up with the Finacial obudsman, before you start flapping) April 2007 are in breach of this Government legislation. Thus becoming void and can be wiped off. Yes fair enough it does sound to good to be true but please i beg you check this out because you may really benifit form looking into this.
To close i would like too say, yes i agree it may sound suspicious and may be annoying to recieve marketing in this fashion but do some research before you jump to the scammers conclusion. They are not con-artists, there good guys trying to give a bit of power back to the consumer.
Cheers Miss X
