they keep calling me
but never leave a message!

The call is from Accor Advantage plus a company that annoys the cr?p out of everybody.
So just ignore the call and dont allow them to waste your valuable time.
If the manage to get you to talk to them you will end up buying a accomodation card that you will never use.

I just spoke to them and they rattled on for ages about accommodation and restaurant specials. It was too much information and it was hurting my head! I asked them to put it in an email but they said it was "phone only'! I told the lady not to bother.

Aha! You can draw a link with this number and their Melbourne call desk number 03 5680 3000 or something like that.

These jerks clearly have too much money and not enough brains to realize their product is unloved, unwanted, and untouchable.

Of course Accor have their fingers in a lot of dirty pies... they also own a string of bars and pubs, some attached to their sleazy hotels, and the line they push to their middle management is to sell as much alcohol as possible to punters, and damn the consequences - a great corporate citizen of the world - not!

They keep ringing me too and it's starting to tick me OFF!

they been calling me so i called back and they hung up on me i think they are a phone   tap business look out for them cause there business doesnt make sense

They rang my partners phone asking for my phone number! She wouldn't give it to them luckily and hopefully they wont keep calling her

I wanna know how they got my mobile number to begin with cos it's unlisted on the whitepages website.

I am in the process of telling these guys I am unable to afford the card, but they will not take no for an answer. So pissed off right about now.

She said "I'll speak to my manager, I'll pop you on hold...wan't be a moment..."
suddenly, my line dropped... you can not rely on todays technology -  wink wink

Just had them on the phone... asked for them to email out the terms & conditions of the promotion (which is a 12 month membership for $299).. the response:

"Actually in our 16 years of operating we've never sent out anything before hand, when I arrange the membership for you I will send out the Terms & Conditions with a Tax Invoice"...... nice try!!!!

I just like the way they jst start rabbiting on with out asking you are you able to talk!!!

What we do is share the call with as many people we can to see if they notice the voice has changed (they never do).

If they ring you on your mobile enter their number as a contact so at least you know not to answer..

They tend to call me when i'm at work. Always a miss call from them.
I never answer their call, or return a unknown number.
Must have alot of time or desperate.

Just had a missed call from this number - didnt leave a message, and didnt actually call for very long (ie long enough for me to pick up) although from looking at this Im glad I didnt answer! Grrr how do these people get our numbers?

Got the same number calling, just ignored it as i was quick enough to google \ get here and see what it was about first :-p

They just rang me and asked for 'alison parker' - Apparently that was the person who used  to own my phone number previously, because I get calls for her every few months.
I told them this, and they said they had the number from four years ago !

I got no hard sell tho - it sounded more like a casual contact and then they said goodbye .....

Direct marketing company - lot of crap

What id like to know is how the hell did they get my home and mobile number, the home one isnt even in my name, its in my mums!!
Im under 18 so i wouldnt have thought to bother about signing up for anything for those hotels coz nodoubt theyd want credit card details n all that and iv never stayed there so i dont know how the hell they got my details, and they adressed me by my nick-name (Lyd) which i never put on any formal forms :S
Sounds a bit too good to be true i think, but theyr going to call me back again this week they said because i just said i dont have the money for it at the moment so they said they can wait till i do n keep calling back :/

I think they hang up after about a second so that you will call them back. That way, you pay for their pesky calls.
