- RAGING!!!!The person who owns and or uses this tel no is an ass...e
Pestering my family for months by ringing nearly every day and using nasty abuse.- Caller: 0755603000
- isothe number that shows is this same number as raging
- Caller: 55603000
- Calvin SamuelsThis is a form of phishing. It is particularly effective if you have an iPhone. What irks me is that neither telstra nor optus are prepared to act on this number and is owners. On one occassion after responding to the number all my records on my iPhone on received calls and calls made were erased. The phone shut down by itself and started again.
- Caller: not known

- Caller: Unknown

- Caller: ?
- Linz replies to RodPersonally, I would block the number if you have the option to do so on your phone. I do this with these types of random numbers and they give up eventually.
- kreenieI have been called by this number several times, same situation disconnects when you answer, pause before you answer and keep them on the line for second, then answer and someone usually anwswers with your name,( usually telemarketers) it happened to me just now and I rudely asked in a very loud voice "yeh wot do you want!" she said lovely..and then hung up ..
- Call type: Telemarketer
- DebbieBe careful, this may be a scam where calling them back causes a huge fee on the call, it is a common scam, I have seen it associated with parcel delivery where the courier miss delivers a parcel and asks if he can call his office but the number called is charged to the company.
- BillI recieve a call from this number everyday and they hang up when I answer. I tried to ring back and it says it is disconnected.
- JennyThis number calls me 2-3 times a day for the past 12 months. They are Indian and when I occassionally accidentally answered it I told them I would report them to Telstra and the police. They state they work for Telstra - which I could quite believe. They are now targeted the internet accounts linked to the telstra phone numbers and other phone numbers - they ( the Indians say) they purchased as a list from Telstra . They claim Telstra sold them the clients numbers and details. Once you threaten them - they then just continually ring your house and hang up up to 10 times a day.
It isn't an overseas number as I had my phone barred for incoming overseas calls to stop the calls as it drives you crazy - so its local from Brisbane- Caller: said they were a company who work for Telstra
- DancinAnyone else had a malicious call trace put on their line? I'm going down that road right now. Considering they call every day, sometimes multiple times, should only be a couple of days before something can be done about it. Hopefully take them out of the phone harrassment game.
- Call type: Prank
- SophiaWow I didn't know so many people were having the same problem! This number calls me at least 3 times a day! Urgh so annoying and yes try to ring it back and it's disconnected. I type the number in google to find out where this number has come from and this forum came up. Thank you everyone for posting your stories!
- Trishmaybe more telemarketers uses the same no..? but once i answered and waited for them to be connected and said i wasnt in a position to get solar they never called again.
no need to be rude, a nice girl that called me.- Call type: Telemarketer
- Ross| 2 repliesIf you use voice over IP telephony (internet telephone) you can nominate what number will be displayed on caller ID on the other end. It doesn't have to be anything like your real number. I suspect this is a commonly used number and tactic used by various organisations.
How do I know - I just changed VOIP providers and had to configure my account. that was one of the options.
If you can block all calls from that number - go ahead. It should stop a lot of rubbish calls. - Ross replies to Ross| 1 replyAlso, for those that haven't registered their phones on the "Do Not Call" register run by the Australian Government - here is a link, or google "Do Not Call register"
Cheers again,
