Received a call from this number asking for my wife, the female caller in a clear English accent used only my wife's surname asking for Mrs *****... I asked who the caller was and she said "the bank",  I asked which bank, to which she replied "I can only tell Mrs **** which bank".. I then said unless you tell me (her husband) which bank I will end this call...she said "that's fine" and the call ended !
I might have been harsh (?) but cautious.  We only use one bank and they  rarely call us, but if they do they always disclose who they are and details only known to us.
Be careful out there!!!
