Just got a call from this as well. Hung up straight away. Rang it back, answerphone: "Thanks for calling back, theres no one available to take your call, please call back during our office hours" All purposefully vague while trrying to sound professional.

Just had a call from this number too. No message left. Not going to call back either :)

Called, hung up when I answered then called again.  Asked to speak to the Three network account holder.  Identified company as 'Sprint Communications'.  Tried to sell me a renewal on my Three contract (which is up in November) and a new phone.  When I said I wasn't interested in renewing my Three contract he offered to transfer my number to a different network.  I pointed out that I already have a phone on a different network (some years ago my sister chenged to Three and I worked out it would be cheaper to have a phone on that network than to call in from my normal phone, she's now going back to the same network as my normal phone) and wasn't interested in keeping that number.  He tried to sell me a contract on another network again.  I repeated my reasons for not wanting to move to another network and after a while he accepted it.

I pointed out that the number was registered with the Telephone Preference Service so, as I have no relationship with Sprint he should not be calling me.  I asked him to have my number removed from their systems and from any lists they sell on or use.  He said he'd try.

Now I'm off to shop them to the ICO.  I suggest others do likewise.

I've also just rec'd a call from this number and when asked they said they were Sprint Communications. Im a vodafone customer and when I asked what their connection to Vodafone was they said they are given lists of numbers where contracts are ending and they will try and get me a better deal.  Just about to ring Vodafone to verify this.

Just had a call on my mobile from this number, hung up before I could answer. I am a Vodafone customer but .neither contract due for renewal!

15 calls in 1 hour from this number, they are becoming a nuisance. I know my phone contract is up for renewal but how is it right that every tom dick and harry also knows?!

Call from this number asking to speak to the Orange account holder and then told me that my contact was up for renewal and he could save me money. Claimed to be in partnership with Orange.

Told him that I get my upgrades direct from Orange and will continue to do so.

Will now contact Orange as they have clearly given my details out, which is not on.

Same for me, last 2 days, 4 calls yesterday, 5 missed calls today.. I am in Australia with an orange pay and go... Total rubbish.. Will not be answering...

They have called 3 times over the last day asking to speak to the Orange Account Holder. Every time I have said 'If you don't know my name I don't want to continue with the call' The last time (just minutes ago) they asked to speak to Alex something or other (not me!)

I know my contract is due for renewal in the next couple of months but I have been fooled by these people before and won't ever again... they set you up with a completely new contract and then its down to you to cancel your old contract with Orange and change your number if you want to keep it.

I will continue upgrading through Orange as sometimes loyalty does pay off and i got a fab deal last time!

Had a call from this number asking about details of my account (On contract with Orange), he said i was on contract yet was due an upgrade? lol, what?

Anyway, turns out my internet bank has had attempted access attempts, and my Orange phone account has been accessed by somebody other than me.

Stay away!

Same thing for me 2 minutes ago - didn't even know my name, but of course they will know what network you are on since you can search that by googling the first 5 numbers since Ofcom dished out the number blocks.

Apparently I'm due an upgrade, but since I'm a PAYG user - I'd have to folk out for a contract or a new handset anyway, besides, they have no idea what phone I have anyway

These people are a nuisance - they call you and then hang up should be banned

Four calls in the last two days, yesterday they left two text to contact Vicki about my Orange account, today a Scottish guy from Sprint telling me i was due an upgrade, told them i was an expat and pay as you go phone, also asked to take my number off the register, said he would and said goodbye. What is this about? is it selling, or do is it one of these things where they get you to stay on your phone long enough so they can access your SIM or something? or am i just being paranoid?

A man said they were Sprint Communications, claimed to be 'principal partners' with Orange.
Seems he wasn't lying.

This number called me while on my lunch break today but nobody was on the end of the line. After wasting there time (and money), for 15 mins i got bored of listening to nothing and hung up. If they call me back and somebody is there I think I will act as they did and not talk for a while, lets see how long they stay on the line!

I got a phone call from this number. They knew exactly what phone I had, when my contract expired, which company I was with. Not happy with this. How do they get all this info.....

They just hung up when I answered.

Suspicious. I had 6 missed calls in two days including two calls within the same minute. I dialled the number, and although it didn't ring it was answer by a man with a scottish accent (I don't know if this is relevant to the company). He did not introduce himself and answered with a 'hello'. I enquired that I had received six phone calls and he replied with 'is that all?' (I thought it was excessive.) He then told me they were calling in relation to my Orange mobile phone upgrade that was due. Now I track my contract online so I knw that my contract is not due an upgrade after he said it was. He became flustered and responded with 'oh well we'll have to check that out and get back to you'. Whilst I am typing this I recieved another call with the automated message of 'you have been called by an auto dialler...'

So now I have to ring them to stop them ringing me?!
