I too got a call with no message

After checking virgin media today re my mobile use,It says I made a phone call to this number. First of all I haven't made any phone calls as yet today or sent any text messages.So how can this happen ?
I was yesterday scammed £15 I was stupid enough to give my number to be sent a free weather app for my phone £15 WAS TAKEN FROM MY BALANCE IN A FLASH. I am wondering if this number has something to do with this incident?
And I don't know what to do about it!

This number seems to be connected with apps. I bought a game from apple and this number appeared on my bill at around the time that I requested the game. I don't think its a scam but probably just a means of communication for the app seller.

According to my cellphone bill I've sent 3 text messages to this number...I know fore sure that's not true...just happy it didn't cost me more when my operator claims that I sent them...

Vodafone claim I sent 3 texts to this number, but I know for a fact that I have not.
After speaking to MX Telecom, they claim the messages are from Apple. I have never received any texts from apple, nor I have sent any.

I have jut spoken to Apple Customer Care and got to the bottom of this number.

This number is an Apple number. When you activate Facetime or iMessage on your iPhone your phone sends a text to this number. Although it looks like a UK number it is actually an international number. Therefore you are charged for a text.
If this number rings you then it is most probably Apple technical support, as they often have this number on their ID panel so it doesn't show their true number that is calling you from Ireland.

I have just updated my iPhone 5 and have had several texts from this number..all numbers and letters..not making any sense..

Getting indecipherable texts from 07786205094 can't make sense of any of it and don't want to respond in case they charge!! Help

I've had similar messages this morning after updating to iOS7 last night.  I've seen some comments about a number blocking function - is this network specific (I'm on O2) or is it an iphone function (I have the iphone 5)
